I'm probably not going to be the 1st or last to post something related to the outcome, but I decided to post here because I wouldn't hear the end of it on facebook. Considering the options, Hillary was my go to choice. I figured it was about damn time we caught up with the rest of the world. I've watched the election unfold for a while and seeing the worst our country had to offer enter the spotlight and continue coming out of the woodwork. I'd hate to see our progress go to waste as soon as Drumpf steps into office. I may not be a minority in some cases, but I'm not in all cases "privileged". And even then, I still have empathy to those who have fought tooth and nail to reach where they are now and to those who continue the uphill battle. I only hope that everything you all fought for doesn't get tossed aside in favor of a retrogressive and bigoted dystopia. If there is any silver lining, it would be that little to none of drumpf's worst policies get enacted in any form. Let's just hope that we're still able to vote in the next 4 years and try to undo whatever damage has been done since then.
