Important! Webcomic You Should Ignore!

by
I have recently stumbled upon a webcomic advertising on Furaffinity using a style intended to draw in fans of Thomas J. Fischbach's amazing webomic Twokinds, possibly to leech off his success! This webcomic is called Project2nd, and the name alone should get you rolling your eyes.

Many of the characters from Project2nd appear to be blatant copies of main characters from Twokinds. Not so much in looks as in backgrounds and descriptions. Even the creator of Project2nd has named himself Loik legacy, which is ripped from Trace Legacy of Twokinds. If this wasn't enough, the art style is deceptively similar to early Twokinds, which seems to be done with the attempt to trick fans of Twokinds into clicking it. On top of that, many Twokinds-related keywords are blocked on the Project2nd forum, including Trace, Twokinds, Twokinds race names, a few Twokinds character names, and Thomas' last name. This, to me, feels like the blatant connection to Twokinds is swept under the rug. If that wasn't bad enough, once you post in the forums and realize all the parallels to Twokinds you mentioned were blocked, the forum doesn't allow you to edit your own comments in order to fix it. That's right, you can't even edit your own posts.

If you thought I was done, I'm not. There is a Reddit page also covering this topic, which I shall link here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Twokinds/comments/2sn8es/proje...

There are a number of disturbing actions performed by Project2nd's creator that I won't get into. Instead, I'm going to try to make it known and widespread that anyone who thinks they're seeing a Twokinds-related ad on Furaffinity should not follow it. I will never link anything Project2nd, and I will urge people to never link or research anything Project2nd. It deserves to be ignored and forgotten. If you see this message, please spread it to people you know, so that even more people can learn of this situation.
