Premium Picarto

So I've met another goal on Patreon to be able to afford a premium account on Picarto.

Depending on the settings of Picarto's recording I might offer those to Patrons. I figure it'd be a good way to give back!

We'll also be able to run polls, raffles, and stuff ad-free!

Not much to really talk about besides that except if we wanna have a duo stream sometime with someone (even if you don't have a premium account or anything) let me know.

I'll be working on more memes for emotes and some offline and banner images ^^ ♥

If I remember rightly Picarto has actually opened up on game streams if you are into that sorta thing. I think you can now solely game on there if it's your thing.

Mindreader! :D I was thinking of either that or taking requests for streaming shows while you work on your art, if that was possible.

"Streaming Shows" how?

If I remember right you can show them but they have to be like...a certain size (like only take like 30% of the screen or something) and shouldn't be the main attraction of it? I can't rightly remember, though I've def had my fair look through their rules. xD

Oh, really? I wasn’t aware there were rules and regulations to that sort of thing. Though, that does make sense, copyrights and all.

I can comply with that--large game screen on one side and show on a smaller corner. I donno. :D

Worst comes to worst, I'll just do requests for games I have/can get. Or something somewhat related to what you're working on. (i.e. If it's Dragon Quest, I'll play a Final Fantasy game. XD)

I gotcha! :) I just thought of that because I was thinking of doing something that would compliment your stream/whatcha working on. :D

But that's good to hear, though! Thanks! :)

By the by, I know you use OBS, but how do you stream like you do? What with how you divide the screen and the overlays and the like. I've used OBS before, and I can't figure it out for the life of me. (I just mainly use NVIDIA Shadowplay for streaming and recording)

The grey at the side is actually just a .png I made with some color and a brush on Clipstudio to make the side of it. You can load it up as an image tab and move it and size it as you want, supposing you're using the studio version (which I'd recommend). everything ON that side is also on different "layers" in OBS, the text and emote list as well.

The music slider at the bottom is carried out through an application called SMD and uses a text file it generates to show what's playing~
I think the creator has dropped support for it but it still works fairly well, at least for Windows Media Player.

Also, sorry for the late reply, I was testing out some things in OBS and I think I've finally got something going! Now I just hope that my bitrate and my uploading bandwidth is up to snuff, heh-heh! :D

Any suggestions there, BTW? XD

Hmm, well, I'm using something someone in chat suggested while I streamed.

Bitrate is at 200 (For art that's just fine, not sure about video/games)
Keyframe Interval is 8

To change that I believe you'll need to change the "Output Mode" from "simple" to "advanced." I dunno if that's all you need but those are my sets. I think that Picarto has some recommendations on their site...somewhere. haha

It's honestly a good motivation if you're having a hard time finishing something. I do it when I have a lot of work to burn through or am working on something for someone who I know will be there, that way it's easier to fix issues...Or so I can just chat with everyone and get things done.

Can't lollygag while others are watching. :D

Premium is $15.99 a month, Basic is $3.99 (I think), and there's Free. They all have their own things they offer and even the free ones are good~

If you're looking for somewhere to host private streams that still may fall into the furry/porn allowance (and gaming) Furstream may be more up your alley. You can set those to private/password only options for free. It's a pretty good streaming site, tbh.
