In that zip file you will find the backing track, the lyrics, and a vocal follow if you need it.
I would prefer if you record the whole song, but you can, if you wish, record only the Fa La La's.
Guidelines for recording:
1) Find a VERY quiet place to record. There is far more background noise in your environment than you think. 2) Get as close to the mic as you can but do not sing directly into it. Getting close will help eliminate background noise and room reverb. Not singing directly into the mic will prevent pops and clicks when you sing p's, b's, t's, d's, k's, and g's. 3) Use a set of headphones when recording. I want a recording of your voice, not a recording of your voice singing on top of the backing track.
If we get enough people, I may decide to do a lottery for who gets to sing which line from the verses (everyone is in on the Fa La La's).
