Alright, time for a bit of a serious talk here. I honestly don't like talking about serious stuff all the time, but this is something I think that needs to be done. So, for a while, I have been looking at how far I have come as a fanfiction writer, and I have to give thanks to my oldest story for that. Without it, nothing I have created would exist: none of my characters people have come to love, many of the universes I have created with friends, and many many other ideas to come. In a nutshell, Sonic GX is what made me who I am and I have absolute respect to this wacky idea that became such a big thing in my life. However, after sitting down by myself a for a while, I realized that the first Sonic GX story does not reflect my current writing style at all. So, I want this to be official: as of today, I will be rewriting every chapter that needs the most attention for Sonic GX: The Adventures of the Aelitatrix Bearer.
This story needs to get some major TLC since, when it comes right down to it, only a couple of the chapters in the original story actually can be classified as really well-made chapters and I believe that maybe, just maybe if I rework on the weaker parts of this story, it'll feel like I've done a better job with this story. Now, for those that are wondering why this decision has been made, I believe that it is just time to do so. For a long time, I have always said that rewriting the original Sonic GX would be impossible, and even now, I still claim that it would be incredibly difficult to do so since, when it gets right down to it, it won't be the same story that it is once I get to a point where I am satisfied with the new results. However, this does not mean that the ENTIRE story will be rewritten from the ground up. Oh no, that's definitely not the case. What is to happen with this little project of mine is just to rewrite the chapters that are quite literally what I deem "Amateur Hour" when it comes to my stories.
This will be a long-term project and it will definitely happen a lot slower than most of my other stories. As I rewrite these chapters, I shall take down older chapters of Sonic GX and replace them with these new chapters and hopefully each and every single person here will like the breath of fresh air that this story shall be receiving. So, until then, I do hope everyone enjoys what has been done so far for other stories like Sonic GX Requiem and Duel Monster Saviors as an example. So, that's all I got to say about this. Stay tuned for more in the near future.
