things I want to know about the  Nintendo Switch

First i hate the name I think it would be better if they kept the old name.

Also things I want to know

whats the battery life of the screen and three controllers?
How hot will it be when its running many hours long?
How fast is the recharge?
whats the durability of it? I fear its gonna snap if you pull on those side controls a little to hard.
What are the games? I want to know if they will have third party support fully rather then then lackluster support we had with wii and wii u.
will it have online gaming support?
how much would it cost to replace those batteries?
will it come with a cable to plug in the screen if you are away from home?

yah I want to know more before thinking of buying it.

So far all we know is that it has local multiplayer and it's not backwards compatible with either Wii U or 3ds

that stinks about the wii u and 3ds.

I'm not surprised it's not backwards compatible with the Wii U since the Switch works off cartridges and not discs. I am surprised it's not backwards compatible with the 3ds though. No other info has been released on it yet though so now we just have to wait. I think it's scheduled to be released early next year

im worried about the battery life. Seems like it'll have 4 batteries in the thing.

Yeah that's the biggest mystery about the thing for me so far. That and the lineup of games too because i seriously DOUBT they would have Skyrim. Though there is a rumor that a PS4 Dev took his project over to Nintendo but right now it's just a rumor

Batteries?
I don't think there will be batteries at all. Just look at the 3DS.

uh yah but thing is 3ds have one battery (im also talking about rechargeable batteries like the 3ds have.)

but this have 4 so there is more chance of failing.

Where did you get the 4 info? I'm not seeing that anywhere.

the screen, the two side things that come off it (in the plane part of the commercial) and that big brick thing between them.

Ah yes, of course. The controllers would indeed need seperate batteries. I didn't even realize that.

Screen + controllers though. The 'brick' between them could be powered by the 2 controllers that are attached to it. So 3.
But still. I see your point.

cartridges is so backwards should just give us a 800 gb sd card and let us download the games off Nintendo network and store it in the sd card XP

It probably works like the 3ds, each game comes in it's own cartridge and if it has an online store it probably has either internal storage or you can use your own SD card. And don't underestimate cartridges, they can store more data than a blue ray disc

i know but just think rather then have a butt load of cartridges just have one with all the games you have in it so you wont have to worry about losing it or lugging a load of them with you. Just saying we could just store all the games into one thing.

Nintendo is known for making the most durable stuff in the industry. Knowing I've had my WiiU tablet fall a bunch of times and it still works, I'm not too worried for this.

We've seen games in the teaser trailer. And there was a list of support somewhere.

will it have online gaming support?
It's the child of the WiiU and 3DS. Come on. They'd kill themselves if they didn't.

cept the 3ds is built like a brick, this thing is thin like a tablet and people with phones and tablets can buy protective cases.

That was just EA. And we know the history with EA xD

But remember that this is not just a home console. It's also their new portable device. And 3DS support has actually been pretty decent. That ALSO goes to the Switch.
