She was ASSIGNED to that case as a public defender, it was her JOB to represent her client to the best of her ability. For her to do anything less would have been an insult to the Justice system, and a quick end to her legal career.

Also, she did not 'get him off,' the Prosecution offered a plea-bargain deal, which both the girl AND HER MOTHER as legal guardian and decision-maker for the minor plaintiff agreed to before it was offered, and the Defense accepted the plea-bargain deal. The Defense is not allowed to offer a plea bargain, only the Prosecution.

Look at it this way, if someone had accused you (falsely or not) of a crime, and you could not afford a lawyer, would you want the Public Defender assigned to you to just half-ass your defense.

Although I'm getting the feeling that you're blind hatred of Hillary has made you a unflinching Trump supporter, and no facts that counter your opinions will penetrate into that spray-tan orange skied world you're in.

Look at the footage, she was laughing sardonically at how her faith in polygraphs had been shattered.

And she only defended a rapist (under court order to do so), she has never walked in on naked teenagers demanding hugs because she owned the beauty pagent, or bragged that she grabs women by the p**sy.

Hillary is also in defense of LGBTQ rights, something the entire GOP has been against since they hooked up with the Fundamentalist Wingnuts. That is the final reason I'm voting for her, and voting to turn Congress as Blue as I can. I'm with her because I stand by my LGBTQ friends. Personally I find it hard to understand furries, who generally know and are friends with openly LGBTQ people, yet vote for the party that oppresses those people.

Nah I have my studies to spoonfeed here I think they are even more pressing. And I just loose too much sleep going to deep into actual happenings with my doozy adhd and whatnot. No but I know a bit about Krim pyramids and Red October and such. Nothing I`d publicly talk about because the guys up there have their hands full in any moment. I myself do not hate anyone as that is a strong word but HEAVILY DISLIKE with a passion are the ultra orthodox Islamic Muslims whom kill their wives and daughters etc all over honor it disgusts me! One theory I heard was that since Trump is a buddy and fan of Putin that it'd make war unlikely, and Hillary not so much.
One other theory I heard was that since Hillary is an experienced politician she would be more of a deterrent to war, and Trump not so much.
And another that Hillary might be too scary (as a deterrent) and that might provoke a preemptive attack.

I think neither would really be relevant, I don't think Russia is planning a sneak attack with nukes and that it'll somehow come down to a skilled commander in chief to somehow save the day.  I think it is more likely that Russia will try to expand its territory, for instance by destabilizing neighboring nations (like they are doing in the Ukraine area) then trying to move in with various justifications and excuses.

In that scenario I can imagine Hillary being better at stopping that, but on the other hand Trump might try a "why is this America's problem" tactic which could be very interesting.

As for "under which president is America more likely to start a war", sorry but that's definitely Trump, he is so volatile and provoke-able.

But anyway people seem to miss it's not a one-option deal here.  There are different types of war and different likely causes for how one starts and who might start it.  Very interesting though, I think.

And like I said, gun control here is really simple.  You just need to appear sane, not have a criminal record, and be able to articulate a reason why you need that gun.  "I need a shotgun to kill spiders when I am out in the bush" would probably cut it, especially if you lived in a rural area.

You might struggle to convince people you need a military style assault rifle for hunting, however.  Despite "the emu war".

I doubt very much that Hillary would be the one to start a nuclear war, especially given Putin's warnings about what "will happen if Hillary wins." In fact, I'm willing to wager that if anyone were going to start World War III, it would be Putin. Not only does his warning sound like a old gangster movie protection racket, but the guy is a certified nutjob. He's so paranoid he uses strongarm tactics and even assassinations to silence political dissidents, he believes that the Earth is ruled by winged lizard people from outer space, and now he's threatening to nuke the USA if we don't put his boyfriend Trump in the White House and trying to blame this bullshit on Hillary. Hillary is not the problem. Hell, Trump isn't even really the problem. Blame the people who cheer Trump on for this mess, and who believe everything that Trump's paranoid schizophrenic boyfriend in Moscow tells them to believe.

I don't know, but I doubt that you know either.  The plan you're referring to might be what's going on, but I need more proof that it is than just the circumstances you've provided before I'll believe that that's what's really going on.  And even then, I won't let Putin's gun-to-America's-head protection racket intimidate me into doing things his way.  The fact of the matter is, Putin's warning is terrorism, because it seeks to terrify the American public into voting his boyfriend Trump into office.  I refuse to be intimidated into voting against my conscience by some fanatic weilding threats of nuclear war.

In a nuclear war, nobody wins.  Not Russia, not the United States.  Not the allies of either side.  Nobody.  Most politicians at least have enough intelligence to know this.  I find it hard to believe that Putin, who worked for the KGB during the Cold War when everyone on Earth always had the threat of World War III in the back of their minds as a very real possibility, would think that launching a nuclear attack on the USA would be a winnable situation, because the moment such a strike is ordered, the opposite side will immediately issue a counterstrike of equal or greater deadly force.  This is what people used to call Mutually Assured Destruction, or MAD for short.  It is this Mutually Assured Destruction that kept people from attempting a real nuclear war, and as such I'm not convinced that Putin is stupid enough to launch a nuclear strike just to keep Hillary Clinton out of the White House.

But it is his rhetoric that is intended to strike fear into the hearts of Americans who are about to vote for the next President.  He wants us to vote Trump because Trump is easier for Putin to manipulate.  A vote for Trump literally is a vote for Vladimir Putin as the proxy President of the United States.  We need to muster our courage, and say "NO" to Putin's attempts to intimidate us into handing our country over to him.

Again, this is all circumstantial, and does not quaify as "proof" that this is what's going on.

"Proof" would be actual confirmation from the horse's mouth, as it were, or from knowledgeable people (and by "knowledgeable," I am *NOT* referring to conspiracy nutjobs like Alex Jones).

Besides all this, even if you did prove to me that this is what's going on, I still will refuse to vote for Trump, because he would be a far worse President than Hillary could ever hope to be. His narcissism, his overt racism, his blacklisting of reporters that don't agree with him, his threats to jail political opponents and to sue women who have come forward to accuse him of rape and other abusive behaviors, all these things smack of a man who does not care one tiny bit about the United States of America and in fact only cares about himself. Add to that his "we'll see, I'll keep America in suspense" response to the question of whether he will concede power if he loses the election... electing Donald Trump to the Presidency is like putting a 5 year old in the driver's seat of an 18-wheeler and expecting him to drive it down the freeway at 75 MPH without getting into a wreck. The man is incompetent and will destroy this country far faster and far more thoroughly than Hillary ever could.
