Hello there yall lovely people who still somehow remember this handle and cared enough about what I have to say after MONTHS and MONTHS of radio silence on the internet. Unless you're one the few people that cared enough to message me via notes/skype/discord to check up on me you PROBABLY think I'm dead and no longer producing content, but the truth is I've been VERY very busy with this whole Punky Town project that's literally taken over my life. It was a real paradigm shift for me as an artist to go from a content-producer to a role that's more about making decisions and commands that'll dictate the course of a project that's SO much bigger than myself.
If you've been paying attention to what I've been doing, you'll know I've been going around to different conventions and trying to spread words about this videogame project that me and the rest of the talented team have been cooking. Things were going remarkably well as we work through the pre-production phase and entering actual production, we were able to lay down a pretty solid foundation for this ambitious project in terms of world-building, character development and game mechanics balance. There are a LOT of things I'd love to show you all but due to the nature of videogame development, all these amazing progress we're making can and probably should be considered as spoilers and I'm still trying to sort out what contents are appropriate to release since there are still a lot of technical details we need to figure out. None of the progress we've made were possible is it weren't for my own family's financial support during these early critical stages of the development and I have nothing but gratitude towards their sacrifices and contribution to this risky venture.
With that said, there are only so much money that my family is able to support me with and due to recent unfortunate events in my family, my family could not support my project at the scale it once did and we are currently out of funds and putting the development of the project on hold. This by no means puts out the fire I have burning for the project and I still am trying to do everything in my power to look for new potential investors to help keep this team of wonderful people together to work on this project. We're currently trying to follow up with a few leads in hope of having further investment discussions but a lot of things are still up in the air and I'm really just hoping for the best at the moment.
In the meanwhile, since the production is on hold, I figure this is a good time for me to get back into the good-old commissioning days to try and spend some time develop my own art some more and reconnect with the community here. However due to the thematic nature of this game project I'm working on, I no longer feel it's appropriate for me to have my public online accounts to be tied so closely with my NSFW side of art. I'm planning on relocating most of my adult-rated work into a separate account under a different name while trying to keep this account as family-friendly as possible. I understand that a lot of you have been following me for my adult-rated illustrations and I do want to thank you all for paying the attention, I understand I probably wouldn't have made it to where I am today if it weren't for the smut I drew back in the day. This also doesn't mean I'm going to stop drawing NSFW rated illustrations, but I just feel it's really important right now to separate these categories of work.
I'm still in the middle of sorting out my own personal art folders for a NSFW account launch and will be ready to take on some commissions once I figure out a reasonable price for me to continue on things. But while I'm still working on that, I'd love to hear from all of you watchers as to what you'll like to see from me content-wise from now on? Whether it'd be more NSFW, more Punky Town content, more comics or even fanart/original character designs. Please feel free to let me know in the comments and I'm gonna try to do my best and be active again on here.
Thanks for reading!
