What should I do wit a ton of money?

I'm getting like $70,000 wed.... what should i do wit it?

My plans so far tithe cuz either christian or karma its good for soul and promotes discipline finanically...
- thinking feeding people and homeless shelters - especially for menz, cuz theyre often left out of loop sadly....

my roommate out to eat a lot make him fat and cruise to the fabulous carribbean! and spending 4 days in orlando, orlando furs hit me up!

here's the clever thing, i can literally buy a fursuit, buy 1000 yiffox comics to sell, and write it all off on taxes for next few years also webstore...yiffox merchandise....woohoo

so then another $5000 maybe goes to etrade and start day trading again....hell i made a profit back in early 00s with $500 and a lot of those trades like 60 of them in 4 months..the fees took away a lot of profits....so bigger amounts means much more profit

get medical problems taken care of.....like $15000 sinks into getting teeth fixed literally....drill drill....

so $26000 left over....thinking buy a foreclosed or auctioned home in ohio or pittsburgh area...looking for 3 bedroom/2 bath...make it a fur den would rent out 2 rooms and maybe dining room....10-20 grand down....20-10 to fix up....then 1st roommate would pay taxes on property and insurance so like $200 a month for room...2nd roommate put into account to fix up house more....so $2400 a year to fix up house maybe add solar panels

oh yeah secured cards to repair credit... $4000 there

to be fair I brought it up KINDA? in that I believe in a tithe....10% of what u get should go back in someway to less fortunate members of society....so got $7300 earmarked for charity....gonna pay for my estranged mum to go to dentist...$100 off top...maybe more...$2000 to local male homeless shelter if they can guarantee money goes to feed and house people... and then gotta figure out where i spend the rest....but it is shitty of him to say charity is wrong...I literally do NOT WANT TO DO THAT.....but its right....give back...i feel bad i dont want to do it :P

lol well im expecting dollar to collapse in next 10 yrs...hence $5000 in gold and silver...will hold value while were under real 10 inflation, which means every 6 yrs dollar value goes down to 50% while gold and silver should retain purchasing power

I will not hide!
I grew the fuck up and stopped believing because I actually read the fucking bible.
I am not some slave to a fucking religion.
And I stopped being a slave to the puppet master the con-man I was listening to.
The church pays zero in taxes nor do any of the con-men pastors the church hires.
In this day an age people still phane ignorance when there is a whole library out there refuting all relilgions.

Ive always done this....used to ride bike to grocery store...would see homeless people on street....id buy extra fruit and give it to them to eat..........this did not make me feel good...usually had to bite my lip or stab myself in arm with thumbnail to keep from crying Im crying now thinking about it....dunno why.

and no....almost all christians i knew treated me well...did good things for me, spirit of charity if nothing else....

since u want to bring theology into this...NOPE...I kept a log for 5 yrs...how many times i got food and shelter at last moment...and yeah he does it at last moment, da bastard, so u know its him....had like 100 enties....all at last moment....for the past year....been getting food solely on commissions from art.... thats really sketchy...yet never gone hungry....ever...in my life.

and im getting money for being falsely arrest by cops for trying to report an officer for misconduct which could of harmed me....spent 11 days in jail...ate crap, the trauma from it...still 14 months later not sleeping more than 6 hours...go to bed lie awake thinking...sucks....can only really sleep if i drink sad so yeah fuck u

i was arrested 14 months ago in florida for trying to report a cop :P  spent 11 days in jail, could have made me homeless permanently if lasted 5 more days...I would have been homeless if it went to trial...they dropped charges...i was falsely arrested....here's the thing...when I realized they were just there to intimidate me not to file report (they threatened arrest in first couple minutes and brought 3 officers out to scene to take a report....the actual officer being reported showed up later along with a 5th officer)  I asked am i am i being detained...the female officer actually said, yes (you have to have probable cause for a crime to demand that which was groundless)...immediately asked, am i free to go....supervisor said get back to your house...walking back, said Fine will report it in morning, supervisor said, get back here your under arrest...walk back get arrested on hood of car.

Here's the messed up part....they edited the dispatcher call.....made up a convo with me and the officer who got fired over this, (i dont think i ever met that guy...the officer they fired was bald and fat, my height...supervisor was taller thin and older)  I actually asked can I just give report over phone, nope...but edited version this guy is talking to me....and yeah ive done sound engineering, its clip and paste, im a novice and its fairly simple to fake audio.  Then they edited video....Im thinking to do that 2 officers needed to record audio...instead of me coming out and seeing 3 cop cars...they initiate video from 1 officer perspective...(btw she violates traffic laws using lights and siren on nonemergency call to bypass redlights...which is significant as there was deadly traffic accident in last 2 years for cop doing just that. Cuz laws dont apply to dem)  she talks to me before hand which did not occur and oddly you cant see me in video.....im hidden behind car...and my roommates van was parked in street that night....thats on lawn now.....so whole added sequence then everyone suddenly moves around to positions that actually happened.  (side note they change audio to me asking if being detained to this portion....as anyone knows,....being detained am i free to go...thats a mantra dealing with cops...so they separate them)  but they still have me asking am i free to go...so no crime at that point no foul...they add if you turn around again, your going to jail (without cause...again what actually happened was I said I would report them in morning and called back to hood of car and walked back voluntarily then they held me for an hour while idiot cop played video games on his phone while supervisor wrote up report....(violation of policy cops arent supposed to do that on duty)  Also heard report of a gunfight on their radio...they actually incorporated this into their story....that the officer who got fired who wasnt supervisor on scene wrote report during this gunfight....which seems to imply i wasnt in back of police station parking lot but in a gun fight scene,,.,,,,they dd investigation...fired an officer who I dont think was there....maybe he was quitting?  made up stories and all those 5 cars had cams...they lost all but the edited one...surprise!  I also per lawsuit settlement am prevented from suing officer fired to actually get to truth...further a district court judge declared that cop didnt need to go to jail for falsifying documents, false arrest etc....cuz cops get off for crimes they commit, he deemed getting fired was punishment enough...

Judge Sinacore  dont relect this bastard..sure he doesnt feel that way about non cops

well wanted all the popo fired who did this and edited tapes..denied...asked for mayor and police chief to apologize DENIED (at that point would have taken expense, like $5000 with apology and firing 3 officers involved directly...2 are still on job...the one who took me to jail arrived late on scene and in testimony said if no one else did anything HE would arrest me....remember this was after I asked am i being detained, free to go...walking back to house...so 10 seconds earlier no crime, no probable cause, as even on edited tape, I was free to go and arrested 10 seconds later

and yeah I do art for food...but theres no guarantee I get that money....it just comes in every week for last 5 yrs...have not gone hungry....and yeah i could easily go a week where no one bids or no money coming on, hasnt happened...had a lot of bad things happen in my life...never ever gone hungry....ever EVER....god has always provided shelter and food for me....ALWAYS...cant argue with that right? Ive never ever been without food...ever...EVER....and its always last minute stuff comes in....again i think he does it to let me know where its coming from,....again kept a list of last minute saves places to live and food to eat....for like 5 yrs...was 40 items long still have it to remind me

I think you might be thinking of hedge funds. They're the ones which classically take X of profits as well as management fees.

Low-cost index funds have kinda decimated both hedge funds and the classic managed fund market, though. If you just want to capture the market's returns (or losses), it doesn't need to cost the earth.

That having been said - if you want to stick your money where you're the most likely to get the most reliable return on it, look into index funds. If you want to donate your money to charity, and want to save the most number of lives per dollar, then you should look at at least one of the 'effective altruism' review sites, such as http://www.givewell.org/charities/top-charities. If you want to know how a person might handle an even larger windfall, you might want to read https://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/24vzgl/you_... . If you want to have a 5% chance of being revived at some point after you die, join the Cryonics Institute. If you want to survive a zombie apocalypse, make friends with some Amish or Mennonite farmers.

It all depends on what you actually value, and how much more you value it than the things you don't value quite as much.

Fair enough; like I said, if that's what you value, work on that.

Oh, and I remembered one major category I forgot in my previous comment (one more reason to be wary of online suggestions): educational opportunities. Whether just to get the piece of paper saying you passed, or to improve your skills in some area, there's a lot to be said for setting some cash aside for tuition, books, and the like. ... Come to think of it, I suppose learning more about personal finance would fall in here, too, which might help you decide how to divvy up the rest of the money. Maybe contact your local college's or university's financial office, see if you can meet with someone to get some advice?
