TMI Tuesday, a little fic update stuff

Hey there watchers, and anyone interested, figured I'd do one of these again XD Ask me stuff, though of course it's up to me if I'll answer certain questions XD

In fic news, I'll be working on Chapter 3 of Hiking Hard, Hiking Hot, for the wonderful :iconsircharles: for more Sonuckles goodness, so keep your eyes out for that in the near future XD... but, in other good news (at least for me XD) working on such an awesome commission has given me a bit of a creative burst, and boosted up inspiration for multiple WIPS that I've been sitting on for ages... so in between bouts of steamy Sonic and Knux, I'll probably finish up some other fics you might find interesting (Like a Ratchet x Clank fic, featuring some robot on organic action, an exciting first attempt for me XD)!

Thank you guys for all the awesome comments on my work, watchers who've been reading my stories for a while, and hello to the new watchers I've gotten recently as well, I'm flattered you enjoy my writing :)

I'm so glad that you're enjoying the commission at least as much as I am, and that you're getting intangible rewards from it in addition to a financial one.

I want to ask if you ever get distracted by your own stories while wiring them. Like do you pop a boner for too long and stop writing all that well, so you have to take a break or rub one out or go back and edit several things or anything like that?

Heh, it's definitely a bonus! Your commission is the most writing I've gotten done in a long while, and it's sparking up my fire again, creativity-wise (and maybe a little erotic-wise too X'D)

Oooh, a good question! Well, when I'm writing the smutty parts of the story, it definitely has a physical effect X'D to write smut well, at least imo, you've GOTTA be actually aroused by the scene; if you're not turned on by it, it'll probably show through in the writing itself, and it'll come across as bland or passionless, rather than hot and sexy, which is what the readers are looking for.

I've definitely had stuff I've been writing where I'm hard whilst putting the scene down, and it's a little bit distracting, but once I'm 'in the zone', and I'm focusing my mind on putting that smut down on the paper, it's like a bit of mental resistance; there are SOME occasions where it's gotten too much, and I've taken a break to let it ease down (usually I'll get up from my desk and pace and try to keep up the train of thought I was on for the smut, so I can come back and get right back to it without losing momentum)...

But, funnily enough, there has only been ONE time ever that I rubbed one out while reading my own writing X'D I dunno what it is, but the only time I usually get off on my own work, is during the brainstorming process, where I first come up with the idea; once I actually write it down though, then I never seem to use it as wank material lmao X'D I can read through it and get turned on by it, but I usually don't finish up with my own work if you know what I mean X'D

I can relate to getting off over the brainstorming of a sexy idea lol. Other than that, I'm often aroused by my own work and have to really make an effort to refrain from acting on it. Because the times when I have busted a nut during the writing process, it seems like my highly motivated state of mind to continue writing just diminishes after the climax and then the story gets put on the back burner.

Anyway, I have a TMI question now so let me ask the following.
Have you ever gotten troublesome wood in public or at an inappropriate time? How do you deal with spontaneous boners in social settings?

Heh, that's another caveat of taking care of yourself while writing smut XD once you've hit the climax, your energy is lower, and the endorphins start pumping XD Afterglow isn't beneficial whilst trying to be actively writing heh heh X'D this is one of the few occasions where blue balling yourself is actually a plus XD

Ah, it's quite rare for me to get wood in public actually! It's happened before though... there are bouts of slowness at my job sometimes, and when there's nothing for me to do, I usually let my mind drift a little to plot ideas or developments in my writing, or if I'm thinking of buying a commission, I'll try to come up with an idea (usually smutty in nature lol), and I start to get affected XD Luckily however, I wear dark clothes and an apron at my job, so nobody can usually tell if I do get hard during work XD I usually try to stop the particular thoughts that are causing the 'issue' though, if I start to get wound up out in public XD

Ooh, nice! Ok, so hopefully I'm not too late since it's still Tuesday here... In the past, have you ever written out a blurb of an idea but then deleted it for any reason (lack of further inspiration, lack of motivation, uncertainty of posting, etc.)?

OMG, yes, I've got a TON of stuff in the blurbs and scraps department XD I never delete though, because I always note the possibility of coming back to it XD I even keep 'Idea Files' for stuff, where I write down plot ideas, and even occasionally small passages or dialogue one liners that i'd like to use in my work, and character profiles for any OC's I want to write about XD just for a taste, I'll list a few;

I've got two chapters and part of a third chapter, of an original story that started as a practice in 1st person POV writing, but I kinda lost the drive for it, because I didn't have much of the plot nailed down... it's got a nice smut scene that I was rather proud of, but I never bothered posting it, because I figured I wouldn't end up finishing it ^^;

I've got a big file full of OC's I created for the RPG Hc Svnt Dracones, and even two separate WIPS of possible introductions to certain characters, and plot ideas for that setting... I even commissioned art of some of the characters for inspiration to write them out XD

I have partially completed plans for both, Sonic and Starfox based Choose Your Own Adventure smutfics that I'd LOVE to try out, but I dunno if I'll be able to manage it XD

I've got multiple plans for Mass Effect stories featuring my OC Saerow Azen, similar to the one I posted up here, and though they would all have an overarching plot, the stories themselves would be loosely connected, and not a straight up narrative.

I've got a character list and plans for an original fantasy themed story (think like, that show Legend of the Seeker in tone) with my characters Gako Agi, Ebre Amado, and Uzziel Mihr

I've got partial plans and character ideas for a 'gritty' Digimon story

I've got some partial Pokemon story WIPS written

I've got 2 Ratchet and Clank fics WIP

A Silent Hill story (with anthro characters) that I think I started LAST HALLOWEEN, and is only two pages WIP

A Starfox story that I started last Halloween, that was gonna have some strange fetishy stuff (involving alien/monster sex, oviposition, and kinda sorta some pheromone play) that I thought might be too strange and turn some people away

I've got multiple Sonic related stories that are either partway completed or VERY AU and ambitious, that I started and didn't know how to proceed, or that I thought might be too strange, Like a Fate/Zero inspired Sonic story, that had Sonic and Zazz as a main 'pairing' (let's just say that it's not a romantic variety XD)

A Rouge x Blaze smut oneshot that I've had in progress for about TWO YEARS, that I haven't finished

A very oddly plotted Mephonic fic, which has Sonic, Knux and Tails as explorers of ancient ruins (Think like Nathan Drake) who delve into an ancient Camelot castle that was buried in a massive landslide long ago, and they find the Scepter of Darkness... which has Mephiles, who, back in ancient times, tried to take over Camelot with dark magic, (with the help of Sonic's ancestor, who was a knight, and Mephiles' lover at the time) sealed inside of it... when the trio steals the Scepter from the castle, the gem cracks during their escape, and allows Mephiles, who is trapped in a shapeless, shadow form, to be able to escape the Scepter at night, when there is no sunlight... and he thinks that Sonic is his old lover, reincarnated. There's more to it than that, but that was the initial plot, and I have a pretty big file written, but I don't know if I'll complete it, even though I want to ^^;

There's more, but i'd be here all day if I listed it all X'D

Heheh! Nice! I have lots of ideas myself, as I've listed in a previous journal XD.

Honestly, I had a lot of ideas, which I still remember, but until March of this year, I felt a bit too embarrassed about posting them so I'd write a couple paragraphs I really liked *wink wink* then deleted it. Why it took me that long, I have no clue XD.

Your ideas sound very interesting as well! I have had a few ideas for Pokémon fics, but nothing I've had concrete. There are a lot of badass and awesome Pokémon I'd love to place in a smutfic or two. Almost all of my ideas are exclusively Sonic, except for the crossover ship I showed you.

I understand the concept of weird fetishes, my man. I was reluctant about posting my Sonic x Zonic fiction for that very same reason, but it was more well-received than I thought. I can only wonder though about my Nazo fic. XD That one has some insane things going on.
