Anybody out there?

Should I even bother posting anything?
I never get any feedback and it makes me wonder if I'm wasting my time

You'd think with 104 watchers I'd at least get something

I know that feeling. I´ve got over 300 watchers and still only get respons by the same view people, when I create a journal.

Oh well, if you're not one of the dozen people whose work show up in "Popular" you pretty much get passed over x3

Hooray for obscurity~

Hooray!

It´s important to never give up. Make sure to post comments under other peoples posts and journals and sooner or later you´ll find People, who care to answer your posts too.

How about some roleplay? Such things helped me to make new friends here.

Eh, role playing has lost its spark for me
Kinda ironic since I've been writing more than drawing in my spare time over the past four years

Still! You should talk more with other. So they´re more willing to react to your journals.

Just because someone doesn't post, doesn't mean they don't see or enjoy your work.

A year ago, but still relevant to me. I felt this way for a few years now myself. Not that I have ever had many followers, it just makes it hard to know what is on the minds of those whom do have a look at my works. Do they like it, not like it, and why? 0.o

Mostly would wish to know such in rearguards to my stories I have put out. I know, it is kind of a selfish want.

Found many others, not just me who feel this way in rearguards to their works. Seems to be a personal prob to many whom just wish to know if they are wasting their time working on certain projects. Stories being a big one to each of them.

Stories takes a lot of time to make, even if one is not great at it. It can kill the old mojo towards that kind of work if there is no feedback by readers on them, or just all negative feedback.

But even some negative feedback is useful, and at times better than none, depending on what it is.

I have even done as a few on this site and other sites have suggested: Read other people's stories, and leave them feedback. That is something I had already been doing long before then, and made sure to do so with those who ask.

I even did some story trades with others on feedback swapping with their stories, with an agreement with them on it. Did this with about 20 or so over the past few years. Only one has given me any feed back in return, and was via a PM. In short, he liked it.

Over time I have even given up on even feedback swapping with others, near none seemed to honer the agreement.

It is interesting to me just how many do bring up this subject over having a lack of feedback by viewers. I personally understand why it is brought up, but also find it rather pointless. It has been my experience to see those whom are already not receiving much to any feedback is still not likely too even by talking about it, as sad as that my seem.
