No...seriously...I can't even start telling how much better these look compared to the show's original character designs, except maybe for Amy who's a little bit over the board.
Sonic looks cool as fuck here...I loved the concept of Tails using his tails as hands and the tribal feel Knuckles gives off which fits him very well. Not to mention they have much better proportions too.
Of course this is only considering the characters' looks...the show is still shit due to it's awfully bad writting.
I couldn't agree with you more...we all know Knux is kinda gullible but they overdid it and made him downright DUMB. Eggman is even worse because his design is actually the best of all characters...he looks menacing but is nothing more than a stupid, bumbling villain...not even close to the pure evil of Sonic SatAM's Robotnik.
