Well tbh it did kill 1000 people in Haiti. But then again, people in Haiti live in shacks and it's pretty close to being a failed state. And considering how much money from charities disappeared and was mismanaged after the 2010 earthquake, they're fucked. The Red Cross only built 6 fucking homes with 500 million dollars. http://time.com/3908457/red-cross-six-homes-haiti/

Sigh, why are humans so corrupt?

Money.. we all live our lifes around this piece of paper, yet we are the smartest species in the planet. How ironic.

Thank you! We didn't experience any hardships from it. Wish I could say the same for others, specially Haiti .

Yeah I heard about that, it's honestly awful. I didn't even know how bad it was over there until I dug into the internet to see where it came from..

Man, the thing has been gone for four days now and I'm still without power. At least the weather is really cool now so it's not too bad without air conditioning. I look forward to the animations!

I was expecting the same for us here. But better be safe than sorry. Hope you get things back to normal fast. I know from Katrina what a week without electricity is.. and it's not fun at all.

The power company is at least on my street today. Taking longer than expected, but I know it's a tough job. I think I'll get it back soon. Better than losing power from three storms in 2004 for up to two weeks at a time where I used to live, in a more rural area. Which also had well water so couldn't even take cold showers or flush toilets. At least that's not an issue where I am now.
