Well, my heart may be fine, but turns out my blood sugar levels are too high. After a second blood test for verification, my Doctor has confirmed to me I've got early onset signs of diabetes. Which I had suspected, as my Grandfather died from it, and it's partially genetic.
And partially because I'm fat.
Fortunately, it's still early onset, so at this stage I should be able to control it by making serious changes in my lifestyle, such as eating healthier and exercising, which are two things I had already started. So if I'd have started earlier I'd be fine...
Oh well, no turning back the clock now. But I'm staying optimistic. My Grandfather lived to his 80s with Diabetes, so there's hope for me yet.
