I'm home from the surgery, got my two lower wisdom teeth removed. They were going sideways (perpendicular to the others teeth) and had to be removed. I did it in general anesthesia because it's a one day operation and one pre-op and one post-op meeting, while local anesthesia is 5 appointments, including 2 operations ! I have a bunch of medicine to take for the next few days and a lot of brushing to do, but I have little pain right now and mostly discomfort from my jaw being all sore and feeling like a chipmunk's. Waiting for the operation was a bit stressful, with stress incontinence I had to go to the potty multiple times before they finally came to take me to the operation. A bit early than planned, so better than the more likely later than planned. I was nearly putting my fingers into the blood when they started giving me the needles and all that. After, it's all blurry (general anesthesia give you a limited amnesia about the few hours before and after it). I could have used a diaper and a plushie or someone to cuddle once back at the waking room. Everything was sore, foggy and all that and not really anyone interested in helping me sort things out. It has all cleared up since and I have to go for babyfood-like food for the next 3 days.
