I'm offering a random chance at 50% discounted commissions, to encourage people to get in my queue to have me write stories for them. I've been unemployed for two months now, and need more work.
Here is how it will work. I have six slots in my commission queue. Each slot represents 10K words of story, rounding down. So if you commit to have me write 45K words for you, that would fill four slots. A short story of less than 10K words will still take up one slot, but wouldn't save as much as a 10K word section if they get the discount.
When all six slots are full, I'll close the queue and select one of the six slots at random, to get a 50% discount on that slots' work. It will get marked in the queue, and the discount will be applied when that segment of the story gets billed.
I'll re-open the queue when I have written enough to free up three slots, advancing the work in slots 4-6 to slots 1-3. This means if you were in slots 4-6 and didn't get picked in the first round of discounts, those same three commissions will get a second chance at the next random discount. It also means if a story in slots 4-6 does get the discount, it might possibly get a second discount applied to it when it advances to slots 1-3, resulting in a 25% final price if that segment gets picked twice.
