Pesky loneliness

I should stop writing these, but just been really kinda hammered by the blues lately. So just curious on if anyone wants to chat or something. Shrug. These rarely work out. Telegram has been my best, thelastgaspauthor

I do have a bunch of stories slowly nearing completion, so will be posting hopefully within a week. Most will be on inkbunny though. Too hot for FA =D

Otherwise, just in a slump, haven't written or painted much

I have a new job, didn't get to write a thing in over a month, and I didn't even have much time to miss it much. But I have so many great ideas in my head that I can't get on paper/electrons. It's a shame.

One of them is a challenge between Melanie and Marik, trying to see how much they can remove from their bodies so the other one can no longer get them off. Of course it starts with some sort of nullification, but that has never stopped those horny siblings. Assume they can remain conscious even without a head, and there's only one bit left. What happens if you remove and vanish that last bit also, leaving them completely bodiless?

Questions like what would it feel like if you were completely vanished. Would you cease to exist? Or would your consciousness drift in some sort of limbo to ponder over lifetimes of trivia until someone bothers to restore your body?

And what do you do in that bodiless state if you happen to be really really horny and not been able to get off before you ceased your physical existence? Can you get off by thinking alone or does that not work without a body to actually experience an orgasm?

Of course as an author I can make the answers to those questions up as I please, but ... what would be better?

Can't help but imagine that is how some hauntings and lust spirits arrive, with enough will able to move physical objects and even possess others or at least influence them. Like a spirit that brings pleasure to others, or grows increasingly frustrated until it corrupts itself slowly into aome sort of Devilish being, like a succubus or incubus, its body made up of the stuff between dimensions of reality, or perhaps out of the very essence of life itself.

This is where the "beings of pure thought" would exist in my opinion

Oh yes thats a nice one.

Assume you died. Then someone decided to freeze your brain, slice it in microscopic slices, scan it, and eventually run a simulation on some computing cluster simulating the functionality of all those neurons. I think they already did that with a mouse somewhere.

You regain consciousness - in the machine. Except, they didn't bother to connect any input/output features because it's just a test run. Nobody knows that you are awake in there, while all they see is some neat numbers and diagrams on how their computer is doing.

Eventually they are done with the experiment and switch you off, just to eventually restart it with some parameters tweaked. You don't know whether you just whole up for the first time or if its 200 times already because they reset the network every time. In fact you don't know at all whats going on.

Except, of course, that you are horny because some scientific assistant decided it'd be fun to see what parts of the simulated brain light up if they increase some simulated hormone levels.

Discord isn't just for voice chat. I use it for all my RP's currently. Its the less "we sell your private messages to the FBI" like Skype is well documented for doing. I like the privacy, and it runs way better than Skype for me at least, both on phone and computer.
