Reminds me of hearing Wang Chung's "Dance Hall Days" after not hearing the song on the radio for close to 15 years.

Sadly, despite liking music a lot I haven't been exposed to much of it over my life. I should look for like a database that lists bands or games with fine soundtracks and look through them.

I actually have songs from games I've never played and probably never will (mostly from laziness) just because the music is so great. I have one called "Will Force" and don't even remember what game it's from.

I asked the same thing when I found this song. After hearing it, I decided that I would follow this band from now on.

That was me when I went to college and was exposed to tons of music for the first time; I felt like a doofus.
"Whoa! What's this?"... "Er, Led Zeppelin?"
"What's THIS?" ... "Pink Floyd, dude."

(yes, I'm old)

Basically all of Elliott Smith. I discovered him about eight years after he passed away.

In my case the answer is usually: I was born too late!

I know, right? Why have you people been hiding "Don't Pay the Ferryman" from me? So many years paying the ferryman, wasted!

That is how I am with all the musics basically. I'm extremely picky with songs and such and it's extremely hard for me to find new content that I like. :/

Worse: when you find an amazing song you never heard of from years ago, and the friends you play it for all roll their eyes 'cause they got sick of it being overplayed the year it came out. -3-

Yeah, I feel ya on that, ontop of half the radio stations in the city I grew up in only playing songs well after they became popular I've always been finding songs that I absolutely love that where either made before I was born or when I was still a kid and not really old enough to listen to or understand
