My phone is in deeper shit than I thought

Not only is the clock and the calendar not working properly.

I also can't connect it to my PC to backup stuff and I also can't connect to the internet directly to backup stuff. I also can't download from Google Play store.

Basically the phone is isolated. This is highly suspicious.
I'm going to reset it and manually enter all the data... again!
Just what I needed when being sick. Dealing with this shit!

Call your service provider from a landline and have them perform a refresh. That should clear it up.

I've had strange problems with my phone for a while now, locking up at night and randomly throughout the day. Clearing the cache partition cleared it up for me, that was a problem that even persisted through vanilla Android reformat and a Cyanogenmod install.

Sounds like it stupidly set the parameters for android all ass backwards. Happens with OS updates. * at least its working now.

sounds nasty. a few possible solutions. one: a full reset from settings menus might do the trick. if that fails, give me some details on the device. make, model, (i might need baseband and kernel version at some point), whether or not you've rooted it, etc. and i can give more detailed advice.

Yeah, I was referring to some guy who made a joke video on Youtube about adding a headphone jack to the iPhone by drilling a hole on it. Apparently a few people actually thought it was serious and destroyed their expensive new phones.
