Betty Shelby 1st degree Manslaughter... holly fuckin shit Criminal Justice finally doing something right. You're not acquitted you're  being charged with Manslaughter. Get this no gun so fuck all you ignorant hacks thinking a gun was involved she's going to prison. Oh my fucking god *in tears* One small step for man one gigantic leap for man kind. I agree, however, you know that she won't see any jail time, let alone a second in the courtroom as the police union and lawyers will find a way to keep her away from those unwanted venues.

You're right it is Oklahoma... but the fact that she was charged and not acquitted is a victory. I hope justice continues to prevail here because I can't remember the last time a cop was charged for unessesary discharge of a weapon

If I remember correctly, there has been at least four officers charged in the past 4 years.

Do not do the celebration so soon. Yes, maybe they did indite her. But we still do not know what the outcome of the trial will be.

In the case of Rodney King, 1992 if my memory serves me right, in L.A., four cops drag Rodney King out of a step van ('bread truck') and beat him up. I remember seeing one footage of police breaking a windshield panel out of the van, and King being pulled out through where the windshield panel was.
The four cops were indited.
Everyone thought "Justice now being served".
When it came to trial, the jury delivered a 'not guilty' verdict for the four cops.
Shortly afterwards were the L.A. riots.

So that's what happened, man I hope the jury is on the side of justice for once and takes her doesn I'm so tired of cops getting away with murder
