To resign or not to.

Thats the question.,
I already been in my work for more than 2 years now and still i have no promotions and etc. The worse is that the working place is lacking of ventilation and we have to accomodate 110 patients together with their watchers in such a small place. I have been earning like 9$ per shift(9 hours because we have to overtime) im so tired like now because we hae still over 100 patient fir almost 2 months now and now i was just got home and thinking that i will go on a duty again.
Thats all. Im close for commission this month asld sorry fir the delays x3

wow... they dont seem like a great place to work...

if you feel like you need to, talk to your boss 1st and see about getting a raise. and if not, i'd say start looking for a new job.

Start looking for a job before you ask your boss anything, you never know how they may react.

I think looking for a new job is good.  I recently went for a third job and the starting pay is 9 dollars an hour...... that's Family Dollars.. my other jobs pay 11 to 15 an hour.

Run away from that place, RUN AWAY!

United States.. Pennsylvania.  Though the starting rate is usually 8 dollars at that place.  If you're in the united states, just look online and keep searching like a second job.

Though I want to go to school for nursing.. and what you're saying scares me.. considering my other job i work under registered nurses and they make way more than me.

they said that the nurses work in the US has a lot of fortune but getting there is the problem. first is like 2-3 years of experience and you have a master's degree.

I think my main job allows me to have experience in stuff... so i might have that covered.. just need the 4 years in nursing school to get my degree (4 years due to me going part time)

i would suggest you leave, if your not going anywhere, it's not worth staying.

9 fucking dollars?!!!! You have been there for 2 years, that's ridiculous!! You should definitely look somewhere else especially if you feel like you've been doing a good job and you you have really been doing your part.

Well anyway...Working at a place with poor conditions isn't as bad as working at a place where the supervisors are rude, arrogant and abusive.
I would rather have the ratty work conditions where you are at least treated respectfully, than to have elaborate modern work conditions but the company treats their hired help like they were stupid shit.

If you have been at that job for 2 years and there is no sign of pay raise or promotion then it's pretty much time to bail and get a better job or at least a better position.

You don't have to resign to earn more loan. Scout the job market first.

When you could find the same job where you get more paid for, you could show that to your boss and open negotiation for pay rise or even improvement in your work environment.

When not, stay.

There is no such bad thing as being unemployed.
