Spike is a scammer that's been buying adopts using under handed tactics like blocking users so they can't respond to his bids and reselling them for quintuple or more of the original cost. Now that people got wise to this, he's trying to sucker people with a story he'll never intend to write and he has no proof that he's actually capable of even delivering what he's promising.
Just saying this as a warning before he tries to drag you into his scam too like he's done to another artist

so...does that mean if he doesn't write 20k words we don't have to pay him anything? The wording on it is kinda vague, and If i remember just before he was doing something similar to this except it was $10 per 10k words meaning in order to make his current asking price then he'd have to write at least 180k words.....?
on top of that 20k words is kinda unnecessary bar to set for yourself not to mention he was short 19196 words in his example XD actually what if someone pays the $180 and ask for like 20k 1 word sentences or something? does that still count XD

Given his past, I'd be amazed if what he wrote was actually his own work and not something he bought of of a writer as a commission that he's using as 'an example' of his work.

Honestly OOO, I wouldn't touch someone holding a 200ft pole that was touching this guy. He's done unsavory things to win auctions like blocking people so they can't reply their bid, he's tried to sell characters that were not his to sell, he's backed out of paying artists on a few occasions and has tried to profit off of the adoptables he won to the tune of virginity auctions that started at $35 so he could afford a cheap artist to draw a picture of the character and the winner and pocket the rest of the money for himself.
If he actually delivers *ONE* of these stories to someone who's paid for it I'll be amazed but honest to god it looks like another instance of someone wanting to get paid upfront and run off with someone else's money.
