Hey guys Kitty here. *blushes* It was fun to able to expose myself to the public and show everybody what I can do as an artist. The whole experience had its pros. and cons but it was fun. I learned as well what to do and what not to do. ( Even though, I read the listing of dos and don'ts. Its a little bit different when actually executing them.)
J1-con...in general. It was okay. Its a small time con that is slowly progressing into something bigger. However, I will have to say the venue needed some serious work. First off it was in the a warehouse. The warehouse was big enough but I never had a con in something like that before. Also there wasn't much ventilation and that was a huge problem. A lot of a people brought fans with them but it wasn't enough. I just hope in the future if we choose to come back to this con they will pic and much more better space.
As for the booth experience itself.....I learned a lot from it. ^^ I didn't make much on my first try. However, it more a trial and error type of situation. Like I learned how to be a human and be more social instead of talking about business all the time. Even though I was really excited to show off my work. Also, how to play to the crowd and what they wanted. At this con they wanted more cute things than sexy things. Also discounts to be a great thing on the last day. ^^
So a lot to work on and learn. But it was fun to be had.
