And some other things as well :) Mainly trying to organise my thoughts on art-related stuff and looking for opinions :)
Let start in order:
Art folios, themed and randoms I generally like the idea but so far haven't managed to stik to 1 theme for long enough XD Except for the last 2 months when I was drawing for contests over deviantArt and I can bundle them under the title "Curious creatures of deviantArt" :D (you can see them all here)
However, I do have few ideas of themed folios that I can make at least about 5 full-color pics + any additional edits and sketches, maybe progress videos? And wallpapers of some of them, mostly PC/laptop, maybe mobile?
Would you be interested in purchasing such folios on a Pay What You Want basis? Also what themes would you like to see (both anthro and non-anthro)? :)
Wallpapers I used to enjoy creating wallpapers and lately I've been thinking of doing some on the side, also offering them ass additionals for auctions and so on. I so far have only one of my old drawings that I like and it's the one I did of Puss in boots. Don't really have any specific plans on that note, maybe adding them to folios or for points over deviantArt for some small cash for candy bars :D
And speaking of candy, I found this ko-fi.com site. Basically, you can "buy people coffee" by donating few bucks. Which leads to the next topic that I was pondering about:
Donations and donation-reward systems I see it's common for artists of all sorts to have some type of donation-reward system, be it patreaon, go-fund-me, ko-fi or other. I haven't really looked much into this until recently because I wanted to reach a certain level of quality ^^ I'm drawing much more now and improving steadily so I feel like I can offer some quality content if people decide to support me in any such way. Also, this would be great help with my subscription based services (you know, photoshop, world of warcraft, internet, etc :D)
I do like the idea of the Patreon site - it's neat and well organised. I won't be doing any pay-wall type thing and all my art will remain wildly available in my galleries, however, people who donate via patreon will get some little extras as thanks for their support. Hight res files and wallpaper versions are on the top of my head but I want to add more things so any suggestions on what can be offered as patreon rewards are welcome!
And since not everybody likes the patreon system I'm thinking of alternatives. The PWYW folios are one, another is the ko-fi site, since I can attach links in the thank you note that pops after a transaction is made so you can automatically get some "thanks for the coffee" bundles ^^ If you know any other of this kind - share! :3
I'll be happy to read your opinions on this, any advice and suggestions, especially on what kind of art you want so see more from me, since I'll be finishing with all the bloody art contests soon aaaand I still owe some free art to people, but I plan to finish on that during September ^^
I personally am not fond of patreon, both because I'd want to subscribe to everything, I feel like certain rewards are like.. not worth it? like i get it's a donation but sometimes i'ts like.. pay $30 and you get like a reward that doesn't make sence. Especially when you'd compare it with, I can basically pay this artist $30 each month and get 1 or 2 (sometimes even more) awesome commissions instead of this "lame" reward :/
Not saying the awards need to be a commission pic for "free" or absolutely awesome, but something relevant would be like.. good? Or the prices need to be lower, like.. some do like a 1-5$ tier, and the next is already $20~ doesn't make too much sence to me but maybe you can add money instead of paying the accact amount of your tier? I'm not sure.
I think artfolios could be interesting but not something i'm likely to get, wallpapers maybe but I think those two would be cool rewards for the 2nd patreon like tier or when you get a certain type of commision.

I was thinking of something like $1 -> $3 -> $5 -> $10 -> $15 tiers, nothing too pricey, as for the last to tiers to include 1 or 2 commission discount tickets off commissions or something of the sorts. Early access for any auctions and commission slots is another thing that comes to mind.
I see many people having psd files in their reward but I honestly don't see how that is anything more than a tickle. Plus I often use pay-to-use resources for backgrounds and if I merge these layers the whole point of the psd files goes out of the window XD 30 layers will be reduced to 5 XD

Stock images and photoshop brushes mainly, sometimes object/character bases and clip art but those I prefer to use only as refs and draw the thing myself since the perspective often needs adjustments ^^
