Pity of sketches

Hey, guys..

I know this is a trivial stuffs, but do you have the same dillemma when you have done the sketch (on sheet), really good done, ready for turn in digital image and the sketch is...abandoned after done digital image? :( This is really sad, for me it is. I feel so sad about this sketch, it feels like never wanted again ;____; I know I sound very bizzare, but it's how I feel like..

What's your opinions/experiences are?

Isnt that an art block? o3o

I don't really create many drawings at the same time not to run into having so much to finish, usually just work with one to three drawings at a time :3

Hmm...I always see the sketch as more the building block to what it will become.  I often keep my sketches, look back and compare them to the digital work.  As I look back I feel like I made mistakes here and there and want to go back and fix them, but never do.

Let each sketch be more a teacher to what you can improve on the next time.  Don't treat it with pity, treat it as a good friend who gave you something too learn from.

Corny, I admit but still, i feel my point is valid.  Each and every sketch is a chance too try out new ideas and work out the kinks in any drawing.

Yeah, its really complicated making choices like that, and leaving the old sketch to rot. I even feel guiltiness about it mostly.
