Eurofurence 22 - Recap

Eurofurence 22 was absolutely amazing. It was my third time there and this year has definitely been my favorite so far.
Not only was I able to hang out with many of my friends again, but also meet some of you guys and get to know a lot of new people! It was just awesome.

And of course, I also got my very own fursuit when I arrived at EF. Thanks so much to

Easyday- for making it, it just turned out incredible!
First time fursuiting was so much fun, to see other people and fursuiters reacting to the suit (and the glittery zootopia pants) just made the whole experience one big happy memory. I got to hug, take pictures and also dance with a lot of peole during my time at EF. I am definitely hooked on fursuiting now and will try to find other excuses to slip into it, so I don't have to wait until next EF. ;3

Now the creation process for the fursuit, had a few hiccups, which is why I didn't want to make a big announcement about it. Only a week before EF I knew I'd be getting the suit for sure, so I wanted to reveal it once I actually had it.
What came of that however, was that many people didn't even realize that it was me in the suit the whole time. x3
I also would like to thank

Asyr for being such a great support for me. He helped me in and out the suit, made sure I stayed safe and heatlhy and provided support whenever I needed it. I don't know what I would have done without him.

It was just a great experience to wear those stripes and see the smiles on peoples faces when I walked past them. :3 Oh and for anyone who took pictures of recorded videos of me in the fursuit: I would really appreciate it, if you could contact me and link them to me or something! :3 There is a good chance, that I might - with your explicit permission only of course - upload them to my gallery. (In moderation however, because I don't want to spam my gallery with only photos ;3). So yeah, please do let me know! :3

Apart from meeting so many great people and fursuiting, there was also the Eurofurence Art Show that I was returning to. This year I had four large canvas prints available - and each one found a buyer! So thank you, those who purchased my work, I feel deeply humbled, that there are some of you out there who want to put my pictures in their home. :3
And of course, thanks to everyone who I saw perusing my pictures at art show. It was such a strange sensation to see people looking and pointing at my pictures, when they moved along. x3

Another great experience was my short "official" trip to the Dealers Den. I was asked by

MSCharlotte to come to the Fusselschwarm table for a book signing of the novel "The Laputan Factor", which was a collaborative work by the ever talented writer Tristan Black Wolf, and me as cover and interior illustration artist.
I had a lot of fun at the Fusselschwarm table, even signed a few copies and was also able to sit down and have a chat with other artists in the Dealers Den. :3

All in all, the convention was an unforgettable experience. And that is because of all of you guys: my friends, the new people I met, all the other furries, fursuiters, artists, musicians, writers and so forth and of course the con staff who worked so hard to make sure Eurofurence would be a safe and enjoyable con.

to bad i was not able to take a photo of you, every time you crossed my way ( you was always so fast) my cmaera was not ready >_< but well i shoot still 730 other ones ^^ ( to see in my last journal)

Aww, sorry about that. With so many people taking pictures it's hard to see who is who, with all the constant light flashes. x3

i still didn't flashlight maybe i will see you next year again, just search for a chubby old guy (which is around 20% of all visitors :P )

Actually I don't think I've seen another Zootopia inspired costume, most of them were 80s related because of the con theme.

War echt schön dich so oft so im und aus dem Suit zufällig zu treffen, da konnte man mal bissl mehr als nur "hi" sagen :)
Freue mich schon aufs nächste mal!

Ja geht mir auch so. :3 Man hat ja oft das Gefühl, manche Leute lassen sich einmal blicken und verstecken sich dann den Rest der Con vor dir. x3 Deswegen war ich auch froh, mit dir auch ein paar Worte wechseln zu können. :3
Nächstes Jahr wird dann richtig super. :3

Hehe yep, ist das gleiche wie mit Fursuitern, manche von denen sieht man ja nie auf der Con, nur danach auf Fotos ^^

Das stimmt, bei vielen dachte ich mir auch so "Die waren auch da? Die hab ich ja gar nicht gesehen." Aber gut, das passiert halt wenn man 1200 Fursuiter hat. x3

Yep - und es werden immer mehr ^^ Mal schauen wann der Scheitelpunkt der Gauß'schen Glockenkurve erreicht ist und die Zahl wieder abnimmt xD
