A little rant.

I'm not beating up on anybody or anything, first and foremost.

You have to eat to poop.
You have to vore to poop.

Why do folks feel like it's necessary to distinguish that they won't ever do scat stuff outside of vore?
It seems oxymoronic when folks try to seperate that they never poop unless they eat something.

We already know that.

Scatophilia is also a way to generate 'post-vore', too.

I'm never going to disrespect someone when they obviously are never going to be scatophilic themselves, though.

Just thought I'd point it out.

This would be more scatophilia than specifically calling it post-vore.

I think for a lot of people they're just very focused on the vore, and only interested in scat as a product of it working with their interest in vore.

For myself I often have to be clear that I only like stuff if it's unwilling...because pretty much every fetish I have is a result of something happening to the subject (me) out of their own control. Whether it's them pooping themselves or them going violently feral savage insane or them being locked up in diaper bondage fat prison. So like if someone tries to initiate an RP with me that'd imply that in-character I'd WANT to get fatter/poop/diaper/thing, choosing to do it willingly, I have to make it clear that I'm pretty much only interested in those things as a result of the lack-of-control stuff and that I'd be completely uninterested in an RP where it's otherwise.

but I agree often it just comes across as an insecurity showing, since I think in a lot of people's minds vore is a lot more..."normal" to like in the furry fandom than scat. Scat's a much more "embarrassing" fetish to have than vore, since vore is "cool" because rawr animals eat things, and even being prey isn't as "embarrassing" as being turned on by poop for most people (at least that's how most people I know feel). They extra-hard don't want people to think they like scat so they have to go out of their way to point out that they don't actually like scat, in a way that feels pretty dismissive towards people who do, intentionally or not.

Personal opinion very blunt: I hate vore, I personally believe its the top 10 worst fetish out there. Im more of a scat only. If someone enjoys vore pm me, I want to try to understand.
