Sighing Softly
Sighing softly , Breathing deeply , Listening to your heart beating.
A simple gesture , soft and kind , has changed the thoughts inside my mind.
What once was there , deep , dark and cold , has given way to fields of gold.
A path appears and shimmers brightly. Towards my future I tread lightly.
The thoughts I have now greatly differ , from those that made me feel so bitter.
The world outside , though harsh and torn , leaves room for greatness to be born.
Im not alone , now this I know. Through friendship , love has slowly grown.
Sighing softly , Breathing deeply , Listening to your heart beating.
My path goes on and so shall I , But not without you by my side.
Your gentle nature , your loving embrace , has given me courage to seek out his Grace.
The love you show for me is true , and through that love i'll find him to.
You give me reason , you give me cause. Now this to is were i'll pause.
I'll stop and sit with you and him.With you by my side , I can let him in.
Into my heart which once was cold , a fire now shines bright and bold.

Pieces picked up , and cracks gently tended , My heart you lovingly have mended.
What once was broken now shines anew , and you need to know , its because of you.
