Got allllll moved in today.. was kinda a headache and the guy two rooms over is one of those stereotypical talks-about-himself-and-goes-to-parties-and-does-drugs type of guy. Oh... and he also shits on feminine/gay people even though it's pretty fucking easy to tell that I AM one based upon the contents and girliness of my room. Why me. ;w; The dude even offered me a weed cookie and a cigar.. like wtf I've been here for 8 hours and I'm already being sucked into toxic shit. So yeah, I feel like a huge outsider. Everyone here is either a redneck, a douchebag, or a slut, and not the good kind. Party party party.. I'm just not about that life. I hope to find some solace in a club or two, maybe anime club if it's not cringey like my high school one.
On the brightside, my room is super cute.~ I've had 3 wallscrolls laying around for a year now and I was super hyped about getting to put 'em up finally. Oh, and the Pokemon Go here is amazing!

Roomates are a huge hit or miss. I've lived with my fair share (about 7 come and gone since I've bene here) , and have been at this for nearly three years now, it always sucks when a good roomate has to go and you play the "What kind of person will I get next" game. Private rooms are amazing, my own roomates don't barely even see me but maybe 3 times a day. I pretty much am in my room, door locked, headphones in.
Those wall scrolls look amazing. Interesting wall choice for a place of living. Kind of makes me think of walls you'd see in a High School hallway :o Then again I've lived in places with bare plaster my whole college career so it could just be what I am used to *shrugs*

Thanks! My friend's dorm is newer so it has gray plaster walls like my house and carpeted flooring. Pretty sure mine is one of the oldest on campus. But hey, I like my room. ^w^
