So what can we deduce here? In 4 years, things changed so that not only the kind of content in the first picture is no longer controversial, but that the logical ending is actually disliked.

It's really funny. Some years back I wondered if this stuff would remain on e621. Now it seems that too little rape is a bad thing. Is this a good or a bad thing? I'm confused...

e621 is an unfriendly community... that is all.
Nevermind about their comments.
They attacked me on every upload over there, so I just stopped using that website.

Either way you have a wonderful taste in rape scenes in furry art :p

I'm not complaining, I use the site for backups. I just find the change in attitude funny.

I guess that the thing that stays constant is that no matter what, somebody will always be unhappy.

The more people, the more tastes and opinions.
Also the internet 20+ years ago was much nicer, too.
You "only" could use it, if you had an IQ above a certain threshold.

I tried that, but they banned me there, because of their personal distaste in my circumcision uploads.
Their reason to remove my art there was literally "Vladimir Commission"
I'm getting tired of this website =w=
If not someone else is posting my art over there, no one is.

EDIT:
Yes I found people there. Who want to chopp their dicks off, who want to have balls removed.
I'm not interested in that kind...

I feel like that's simplifying things a bit too much. It's not just the theme that gets noted when voting/commenting on things, it's also details like how the art appears, how the panels unfold, the use of dialogue, whether or not pages go in the direction the reader is hoping it will, etc.

Ultimately unless they're explicitly explaining in the comment section why the felt the way they did when criticizing, I wouldn't try interpreting the reception like that because it's quite difficult to be accurate.

I don't know if you can make a sweeping analysis of the state of the community based on one website and a few cherry-picked selections, especially given recent drama (ha, I don't even remember what the site was called). I probably come off as rude and condescending, but I have to point out the fallacy for the sake of caution. It's these kinds of fallacies that can cause drama, after all.

That being said, I would like to address your interest in the negative reaction in the second of the comic, as it compares to the first. That is a much easier thing to do. :)

It boils down to judging the piece on its own, rather than with respect to its continuity. It just demonstrates that, of the people that voice their opinions via the site's systems, they don't take to that kind of content well. Of course, even that's a bit of broad speculation, but it's logical.

I doubt that the negative reaction of the second page has to do with any artistic critique. If it was based more on that, and not so much on the subject matter and context around it, it's a pretty solid composition. I don't mind the content one way or the other, but I still liked the first page better. Doesn't mean I disliked the second page, though.

I should also point out that this analysis may become obsolete, though unlikely. It could be that sometime in the future the second page overcomes the first, or at least becomes more positive.

Moral - new Furry sites? Don't include a general forum for people to instigate this drama.
