I'm not dead nor did I leave the fandom or anything crazy like that. I moved and still don't have internet. Four times Frontier Communications was supposed to hook it up, four times the tech never showed up. I called the company three times to complain, sat on hold for ever, and still, I have no internet. I'm typing this from my office. Yesterday, I sat on the phone with these jackwagons for over two hours! "Well, Ari, why not call another company?" I would love to but Frontier is the only provider in this town and everybody, I mean everybody, hates them. I've heard nothing good about this company. Blah! *goes into a stoat rage*
Second issue is my work and home life have changed. "Oh, Ari, you goof, you're lucky to have what you have." No, I'm not "lucky", I worked damn hard to get what I have and to be where I am. Luck had nothing to do with it. I'm fortunate to be where I am and I'm happy with choices I've made. I've got a girl living with me. I need to adjust to living with someone. My work has become very challenging since I took a promotion but I love the challenges...it just takes up a lot of my time. Over all, I'm a very happy fur :3
Third issue is my stupid fucking pen display tablet from Huion. I want to punch this thing in the face! It stopped working so I'm dealing with this again. I'm checking my finances and seeing if I can't just return it and take that money to buy an ipad pro or something. I've heard good things and being able to doodle anywhere would be amazeballs. I mean, I still doodle with good ol' pencil and paper but I'd like to post some shit too. The owner of the company I work for has one and I'm seeing him this weekend. I told him to bring his so I can mess with it. He's got a buddy that does a comic strip about life in Jamaica and he does it all from an ipad pro. Says it works great. If only I had about $1300 to throw at it.
In other news, my mom totaled the car I gave her. Hit a deer. She's fine, just worried that I'd freak out on her, lol. A week later, after buying her another car, my youngest brother rolls his truck and gets ejected out the passenger side window. Got a couple of good gashes; one on the head, one on his back. A lot of road rash and bruises but no internal injury so he's good. We're a touch bunch ;) I paid to get his truck towed and out of the yard. I've got no more moneys :( But I know how to live on pennies and dimes so no worries, I'm still as happy as ever with a dash of stress. I think, I'm not sure, but I think I have bed bugs. Kristy, my girlfriend, wanted to use her mattress and me being the gent I am says, "....k". Ever since I switched the mattresses, I've been breaking out with something...It's itchy but isn't a rash. Like a mosquito bite but when you itch it, it peals off a tiny bit of skin and scabs over. Lol, gross! It's only on the side of my body I sleep on (side sleeper) so I'm pretty sure it's got to be the bugs. Hahaha, she gave me the bed bugs!
Well, if you're still reading, no, I'm not dead nor have I stopped arting. Once I either get the Huion to work or buy a new platform for digi media, you'll see some cute art again. Until then, there's plenty of other very talented artists out there that you can oogle over ^._.^==--_
