Dinosaur Land is overrun by Piranha Plants, threatening Yoshis, Koopas, and Lakitus alike with their voracious appetites. Bowser/Kamek are not behind it this time.
It’d be a sidescroller, first off. And at the start of each stage, you could choose to play as a Yoshi or Koopaling who you had rescued, on a Yoshi’s-Story-styled character select screen. Lose a Yoshi or Koopaling and you have less to choose from. Could be re-rescued with White Shy Guy. In the end, you’d rescue Bowser and Kamek (first time for everything, right?) so they could use their magic to stop the Piranha Plant infestation at the source, which turns out to be vengeful Shroobs! Ooh, plot twist.
