I wouldn't waste much time with streams, ESPECIALLY game streams.

If you stream, it's best to keep it purely art based as that's what InkBunny really is all about basically. But even with art streams, with SO MANY doing them, it's hard to get people into your stream. It's a big competitive thing.

I'll say this, some people do join stream primarily to chat up a storm, and If they wish to chat with you, it is difficult to do so if you are flicking your thumbs on a pair of joysticks.

If I want gaming, then I play myself or I watch sick shit like MarineLord bashing very one at the Dreamhack.
And I don't know what you would gaining doing game streams, I doubt you would go pro and it is "wasted time" regarding art improvement.

Art is a hobby for me as well and I have played the last 10-15 years and stopped drawing.
Now things have turned for me and I am sad, that I have delayed the development of my art skills for such a long time.
And now my CS-skills, Total Annihilation or EvE-skills are useless. With art I could at last created something 'real' or 'lasting'.

I don't watch streams very often because I am a quite busy person. But besides that, I don't know you as a gamer. I know you as an artist, so if there is anything I would like to see of you, is seeing you draw.

I also very rarely watch people do things I can do. If I have the time, I would rather play myself. But I can't draw for crap, so I am sometimes interested in seeing how pros do it.

The thing is, I literally only know you as "some guy who draws stuff I like". Watching some guy who draws stuff I like play a FPS just isn't the kind of thing that sounds immediately interesting because those two things are entirely unconnected.

And whenever I do watch videos of gaming it's when I have a hard time getting through some part, so I only watch playthroughs of single player games. The only other time I watched somebody else play a game was when I wanted to see the gameplay of Daikatana, but didn't want to besmirch my hardware with such a horrible game.

I was there for a few minutes, watching as you and your partner took on a trio of opponents for about three matches, but I didn't log in to chat while I watched... mostly because I didn't want to distract you, but partially because I wasn't sure I was able to stay. The game looked good, and I rather enjoyed watching you whip on them, but I was also distracted by intense shoulder pain and went to lay down, shutting down my computer for a few hours. By the time I came back, the stream was over.

do the same thing, usually promising art after a gaming stream. Perhaps that would get more people interested in watching you game? I don't know. Sometimes I watch the aforementioned members of IB game, but when it's an intense FPS like Doom, Destiny, or Overwatch (as examples), I stay silent so as not to distract the player at a crucial moment. Slower games like Viscera Clean-up or the Truck Driving Simulators I'm basically a chatterbox because there's no time limit, or fast paced action, but that's just me attempting to be respectful/helpful.

My Bunny streams Destiny and I try to watch when I can and she is really awesome at it to me I don't play video games I have school and doctor visiting to go to. As far as myself goes, I rarely check streams from anyone, art or otherwise, as I'm either doing my own gaming, or watching shit on youtube to clear my subs.

we were playing Destiny until 3 am, so adictive ~_~
Also we stream aswell but since people aren't ussed to seeing you stream about games you can't expect many people showing, it takes time to people get to know you do that and move there, not sure if you talk in the game or not but also helps to interact with the people that talks eventually. Hope that helps and if you like gaming and streaming don't give up even if no one shows at first, enjoy your games and little by little people will join to enjoy them with you aswell ^^

We play on ps4, right now we're mainly doing raids because we're 4-5 sometimes, so a full team would be good too, the problem is only that we all speak spanish and not everybody in the team speaks/understands english X3

I never saw a stream alert. Though Destiny isn't a game I'd be that into. I've found I've gotten a few watchers through Steam rather then Twitch, though I am a let's player, so might be very different XD

It's not that it's a FPS, I play those. Picked up Doom recently. Just the game itself looks a bit dull, even though I know it's crazy popular. I have the same feelings toward CS: GO. I usually just watch streams if they're friends or playing horror games, myself (So I still would have watched XD)

I open Steam's stream whenever I play on the PC now, and let anyone on my buddy list watch. Need to get ClipStudioon the windows PC to get art back to streaming. It's at weird, early times, though.

The game 'looks' far from dull, and it is far from. I have a great time when I'm with friends. I thought the same about both Destiny and Borderlands, then I just tried them and fell in love with both.

But since you like horror games, more than likely when the new Resident Evil comes out I'll be streaming that.

While I understand some of the issues people have with Destiny, it has never, and will never, have 'monthly subscription fees'.
Yes, there are minor micro-transactions that are SO far away from 'pay to win' that it's laughable. It just gets you cosmetics mostly, and some boosters for experience, which are entirely unneeded to enjoy the game.

Now, if you're complaining about having to buy a new expansion to an existing game, then I don't know what to tell you. Many other big AAA games lock out content for older console users when they release expansions/updates, etc, so your reasoning there is completely flawed if that's the case.

I suppose that's true, but that's more of a 'fault' with Sony, and less with Destiny/Bungie itself if you ask me. Needing to pay extra for online access, regardless of console is a bit annoying though no matter the game you're playing.

I wasn't around when you were streaming it seems, I would have joined and watched for sure had I been. That said, if I weren't just utterly behind on Destiny(see still at lever 13 or 14) I'd also offer to join up and kick butt with you given some notice...and us having it on the same system.

i think you're appealing to the wrong audience if you call people from this specific website for videogames.

theres at least one artist (namely Emenius) that announces his streams like 2 hours ahead and plays videogames for those 2 hours before streaming his art, he gets some viewers that comment about the videogames too but they're there waiting for the art stream

that's what this community is about anyways, art, right?
(i also am not really sure where to find the audience for game streams, i suppose social media is the only way of announcing yourself -- or getting youtube famous first and then streaming)

I don't think game streams tend to do well posted on art sites at all, but I did see that you were streaming, I just have no interest in Destiny personally. I like watching game streams, but I only tend to watch them occasionally, and only for specific games that catch my interest at the time (most recently has been Dead by Daylight). I think you may run into trouble finding people who both want to watch a game stream that was posted to an art-centric site, and then doubly catching people who want to watch the specific game you're playing. Still, I see no reason not to throw a quick post up advertising it if you're already gonna be streaming the game anyway! Gives people a chance to pop by if they're interested. ^^

Honestly I never caught notice of a game stream, I probably would've at least given it a peek. But yeah, at least on here it's probably best to combine games with art in some way, even if it's just the promise of an art stream post game sorta thing to draw them in. I find it tough since games are to help me wind down, makes me have to do it in the opposite order.

I would be interested but I'm also just speaking for myself. I'm also a big gamer and I do enjoy watching streams and getting to chat with everyone watching/participating in them. But like the others said, people here mainly come for art so they probably won't have the same interest level as me.

I'm one of the old and crusty people who pretty much never watches game streaming 'cause I'd rather be using that time to play a game. Pretty much the only time I watch game streams are when I don't have access to it (beta test or whatever) or when it's the game's creator doing the stream and dishing inside dirt about it.

If you are interested in gamer streaming you should check out twitch.tv as the whole site is devoted to nothing but gamers streaming. For anyone who says no one is interested in watching this type of stuff I ask you why does twitch.tv have several 100K viewers at any given time. There is big money to be had in this type of streaming but you have to have the right audience and IB is not the right type of audience for this. Definitely check out twitch.tv though.

Haha! Far from. It's a great game, it has it's issues but what game doesn't. Even people who don't like it overall even say it's gunplay mechanics are good. PvP is what really holds the game together, much like Halo. I guess it's just a Bungie thing.

It offers nothing new whatsoever to the genre.  It's literally interchangeable with everything else.  Dull.  Uninteresting.  Non-innovating.  Cookie-cutter.  Bland.  Beige.  Need more synonyms?

Also it looks like it was designed with roid rage in mind.  Ludicrous aesthetics.  Not as bad as, say, Gears of War, but still tryhard.

Drizzt D'urden does guns in space, as one reviewer put it.  I'd give it less personality than that.

It offers fast fluid combat, unlike most FPS's, with high mobility. Elements and perks that allow you to take advantage of AI enemies. Class specific gears and abilities that change the mood of the game. Exotic weapons, each with their own specific abilities that aren't on another gun in the game.

The story isn't much to look at, which I am sad to see, but at least it has a litany of interesting character and a really expansive lore which you can read and discover secrets, or come up with your own story. Unlike most games which force feed you a mythos.

Aesthetic-wise the game is beautiful. The in game world has tons of locations and many things to see, each with their own tale, spanning from planet to planet, with more expansions coming up.

I'm sorry, but you're just wrong. If it's just your opinion that you don't like the game then say that. Don't state your opinion as if it's fact.

I find Destiny to be an incredibly dull game. To me, it has all the aspects of Halo and an MMO that I dislike, and none of the aspects that I found enjoyable from those.

I prefer Planetside 2 for PVP battles honestly. Way bigger scale, and it's interesting to see people actually taking up leadership roles and trying to outwit other leaders in subsequent offense and defense roles. Especially when the battle involves all three factions.

Destiny... I don't know what it is. I enjoyed Halo quite a lot, but Destiny just comes off as a directionless Halo knockoff to me whenever I play it myself, or watch others play it. What is even the objective of PVP in Destiny? Is there some kind of turf war aspect to it?

I used to play large scale battle games, played Planetside and I just feel a disconnection between players. A focus of one v one is much more crucial because a simple mistake could cost your team the game.

And what's the point of any PvP? Fight your opponent and win. Objective depends on what game mode you play. And I heard rumors that they might bring in faction wars, but who knows.

If they were to bring in faction wars to Destiny, I could see that being more enjoyable to watch. But what is PVP currently for Destiny? Is it a team death match? Point capture?

And yeah, Planetside is definitely more enjoyable when you're on an actual team that communicates with each other.
