My dog has been diagnosed with CCD (Dementia pretty much) and its been real rough taking care of him as most of my day is catered towards making sure he eats and drink, but at the same time I still love him and its been taking its toll on me both physically and mentally, no matter how well I hide it.
So just throwing it out there, forgive me if I'm quiet most of the time. I'll get over it soon but right now its heartbreaking and it somewhat reminds me of what my grandmother went through when she was diagnosed with dementia.
