So I just wanted to do an update for everybody currently commissioning me, since it's been awhile.
Still chipping away at the pile slowly but surely, but I've recently come to the realization that since starting our Team Acorn Patreon, it's been even slower going then usual to get my commissions done. Since I do a lot for the Patreon and I try to keep up with it enough that I'm posting something for them at least once a week, sometimes more, I've noticed that my commissions have been suffering and lagging behind a great deal because of it, that last pinup with Sally and Bunnie taking up almost a full month of my time, just as an example. v.v So I've decided to slow down on my Patreon for the time being, giving them early access to any commissions I finish to make up for the slow down. Already mentioned this to our Patrons awhile ago, but if there are any Patrons here reading this now that missed that message on Patreon, now ya know. xD
Doesn't mean I'm stopping on Patreon things, far from it. I'll still be working on lots of things for it actually, the monthly CYA pinup and the 2 flat color pinups as well as another comic page I hope to have finished before August. I'm just going to be focusing more on Commissions then I am on Patreon for a little while, until I'm finally all caught up, which if I stick to my guns and the schedule I've made for myself, I should be all caught up for around September. :) Ya...that's how far behind I've fallen. xD
Cause I just have to be honest with myself, it's not really working currently juggling both, on top of that I have my other SFW art account that I run as well...so I'm a very busy bee lately. <.> It's tricky for me each month because commissions are how I currently earn a living and pay rent and bills and such, so every 30 days it's almost like I have no choice but to pile on more commissions just to make ends meet, but with the Patreon now also, I can't really keep up like I could before, so to also help me cope and so I don't have to take on more commissions, I've recently been out applying for part time work. Which isn't a bad thing really, gets me outta the house, gets me exercise, which gives me more energy to get commissions done. So ya, that's my new plan for the time being, just felt ya'll should know.. ^_^
In other things, once I'm finally all caught up, I may be taking on less commissions at a time, do them 1 at time instead of 5 at a time like I normally would do. xD Big reason being the Patreon which I'd love to keep working on and expanding. Because we're currently working towards a very big project on our Patreon, one that I am personally very excited about and can't wait to show you guyz what we're working on but until I'm finally all clear of commissions, I won't really be able to go full steam on said mystery project. So ya, once we have more finished for the project, we'll be letting ya'll know what it is. :) But if you're not the waiting sort, feel free to become a Patron of ours to find out more....sorry, I realize that's pretty douche of me, dangling news in front of ya and then not saying what it is. ^^; But once we announce it, you'll understand why we couldn't really jump the gun prematurely.
