I went on a vacation with my family to New York City. I was interested in seeing how a city with such a dense population functions. After visiting the place, my guess is that it functions solely from its lack of modern convenience technology. If it wasn't for the mobile devices and the occasional wifi city station, the place looks like it's a decade behind in technology. I can't remember seeing a single vending machine there. I guess that's how they keep so many people employed.
At the moment I'm taking a summer class in linguistics. That's my summer so far.
