I've got a pretty close friend who's been writing his own full on story. It's on the horror side. Here's his synopsis
What is your worst nightmare? Is it a horrific monster? Is it a state of well being or death? Perhaps it might be the prospects of love? Coss Clement is a guy who is in love with the girl of his dreams but is stuck in the friendzone. Coss's worst fear was that he would never get to love the girl he wanted until he realized, he had much more to fear. Nightmares Realized is a novel based on the idea that everyone has a worst fear and what would happen if one person was put through all of them at the same time. Coss has realized his fears, and as he does, they just might tear him apart... literally.
