Well, after my hiatus I figure it's the perfect time to switch to Manga Studio, which I've been meaning to do for some time. It should help me get higher quality pics, especially since I can use a text tool with it rather than my awful (and slow) handwriting, as well as shape tools to make my speech bubbles look more clean and smooth.
It shouldn't really delay commissions, since I would need some warming up for them anyway after my break. I might color a personal pic and do a couple sketches to get used to the tools, but I already did a lot of that today. I'll move straight into my next commission once I get a little more done tomorrow. Hopefully replacing my tablet won't take much getting used to, but I haven't even ordered one yet so I'll worry about that when the time comes.
