Had gone to the hospital for two days and is back home

For as long as I can remember, I would get some severe abdominal pain that never lasted long, but on Monday I had the pain again and it lasted longer then I ever experience. I checked myself into the emergency room late that night and I found out I have a gallstone. According to the doctor, I might have to get my gallbladder removed which will suck. I wished this happened after my college course is done, I have two weeks left- three including this week- My abdomen isn't hurting right but I'm currently dealing with nausea and not only am I put on a low-fat diet, but I have to be careful how much I eat or else I'll throw it all up.

On Tuesday I was still feeling nauseous and seemed to have trouble producing urine no matter how much water I drank and when I got home I tried to eat a nectarine and a mango since they were low in fat (and the only things I had) as I was eating the mango, I had to go and vomit and I vomit not only the mango, but the sandwich I had eaten for lunch and almost a liter of water. Wednesday I was still nauseous that I skipped my night class and as I was waiting for the ferry, I became light headed, dizzy and felt like I was going to vomit, luckily the ferry was letting the people board before I was able to vomit but it felt like I wasn't getting water and nutrition into my system. Both days, my urine looked bright yellow and on the verge of orange.

So when I got home, I asked my sister to take me to the ER and after a couple hours of waiting, they put some fluids in me and took some blood to run tests and a urine sample that looked almost orange. After a bit more waiting, the ER doctor came and told me my condition had worsen the last time I was in the ER. A gallstone had lodged itself into my bile duct causing my liver to be elevated and so he decided to admit me to the hospital and informed me I have to get the surgery soon. At 4pm on Thursday, I had to get a ERCP before I can have my gallbladder removed. They stuck a tube down my throat and all the way into my lower intestines to remove the gallstone from my bile duct and any other gallstones I had.

The whole day I was bitching to my sister about how hungry I was as the last time I ate was around 5pm on Wednesday and by the time I was back in my room after the ERCP it was around 6 and it reached to me not eating in 26 hours. But luckily I was put on clear foods and had two cups of lemon jello and chicken brother and ice chips. I was able to go to the bathroom and my urine was a regular color which made me happy. Then today at 9am I got my gallbladder removed. I was hungry but mostly tired so I slept until 2 or 3, the nurse looking out for me changed my meal plan to solids and I ate spaghetti and have a milkshake and I was able to hold them both down and not feel nauseous, but I'm still going to try and be on a low-fat diet since I can't eat greasy and fatty food anymore. I was discharged close to 7pm today and I'm happy to be home. I'll be taking it slow and easy for the next few weeks. I still wished this happened after my Spring quarter was done so I wouldn't have to worry about missing classes.
