This new website definitely wins The Crappiest Design Ever award. Come on guys, even SoFurry back when it was YiffStar was much more usable and functional than this mobile abomination. Weasyl's thumbnails suck, FurAffinity's security sucks, but FurryNetwork took sucking to a whole new level. It's barely usable. It's worse than Tumblr. And that's an epic feat, previously I thought nothing could be worse than Tumblr.

So, this... thing with a feed in place of profile, no pagination, no journals, no editing of files, png converted to jpg... this thing is what welcomes us in the new Era's year 1 A.F.A. (Anno FurAffinity)? They don't even see the problem with endless scrolling - they discussed it and decided no one needs pagination, so they'll implement it sometime, later, maybe, if there's a demand. Welcome to the Age of Censored Internet Fastfood guys. It's a place where only last day of submissions exist and no one cares about artists and it's all about clicks on jpegs and giving in to demands of brainless zealots.

Stop the world, I want to get off.

That's what my remark about brainless zealots is about... I hoped that people behind BD are wiser, especially after a Twitter post. Oh well.

They have a trailer! With fursuits! They make dildos! With knots! That means they're awesome and can be trusted!

Meh. Nothing new. It's always like this after every major FA screw-up. Everybody "LEAVING FOREVAR!!1" will be back in a month.

It always happens, doesn't it? FA is down/gets hacked -> people get angry and swear to leave FA and never return -> people eventually return anyway. It's the circle of life~ x3

Crappiest Design Ever award!  Looks like I'm not the only one who agrees with that statement.

Honestly, I think the interface here and on Fur Affinity are close to perfect for an art gallery site.  Furry Network, is horrid in my opinion. It also the second slowest furry site I've ever tried to use. FurriesXtreme wins the all-time slowest furry site award.

Square cropped thumbnails are really annoying, but so many newer sites are using them now.  I have now idea why something like that is becoming popular.  Endless scrolling crap is why I don't use sites like Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr.  You get about a hundred posts down in the scroll, and everything starts to become sluggish. Then you go much further and your memory starts swapping to disc. Then, if you push it much further, you risk a browser crash or crashing your entire operation system.  One a busy site, that could mean only being about to go back a few hours, or maybe a few days. So much for finding anything older.

Furry Networks is probably going to be more like a really bad crossing of the worst parts of Tumblr combined with the worst of facebook, only with a furry name.  It's functions as an art gallery are not even close to being usable or complete. I joined the beta some time ago, and if anything, it has gotten worse over those months.  Of course, I can't figure out how sites like Tumblr ever took off.

You're doing it wrong! You aren't expected to scroll more than 10 pages! What "infinite" actually means "you visit the site 5 times a day, scroll 2-3 pages at most and never go back". You aren't expected to follow artists, view their galleries or journal archives, comment on works or discuss anything. You're expected to rely on "most popular today", maybe on tag subscriptions. But remember: never ever scroll past 10 pages! It's wrong!

Tumblr fits in the whole Internet Fastfood idea. You don't follow content you like, never missing works by favorite creators. Instead you're fed 30-100 posts a day according to an algorithm chosen by a website.

Ugh!  Sites like that probably work best for people with a shorter than two minute attention spam, who think the day before is ancient history.  You get what they give you, instead of what you search for.  Even worse is when you find something good, it is often next to impossible to find the original artist. There are times when I'll run into the same image several times, reposted by different people, and not a one gives a clue to where it originally came from.

I tried following a super active account on Tumblr once, never again. Now I follow only a few who don't post often and I don't miss anything.

While I don't dislike nearly as much as you do, it is nice to hear from someone that doesn't consider it the next great site to be at.
