It seems appropriate that I make a journal as a) It's been a while since I actually made one, and b) The big stuff that's happened over at FurAffinity.
I personally have no real issues with the site but I do keep up with the stories and news that revolve around it but I personally try not to comment much about that. In the end FA is my main gallery as its one of the few places where I can post mostly everything I draw and where most of my traffic comes from. So the recent events of the site being taken down and now in read-only mode due to stolen user information is certainly quite concerning. While I don't think this will be "the end of FA" as the word is going about I do think it will lead to another wave of artists either moving or at least making alternate accounts just in case the worst does come to pass. I hope things will improve as FA was my first dive into the furry community and had nothing but positive experiences with it that then eventually led me to here on Ink Bunny and other sites.
Still, once again it does highlight the need to occasionally remind you guys the other places I am also available, turns out I'm on a lot of places:
- Deviantart:My main (mostly) clean gallery for human, furry and MLP. - SoFurry: Due to similar policies to FA, you might find my human adult content there too but at the moment I've not done that. - Weasyl & Furry Network: Mostly backup accounts, I do not get very much traffic here so they are not as up to date. - y!Gallery: Generally up to date but not as frequent due their very stringent content policies. - Tumblr & Adult Tumblr: Not updated as often as I'd like, also a place where I'll post sketches or WIP's.
