Update
So the urine test came back and it was flooded with white blood cells. The vet thinks he has an infection. The next time the vet is in town on Friday we will be talking about our next course of action and antibiotics.

My cat has gotten sick and it doesn't look like a simple case. He's in pain every day and it's breaking my heart to see him like this.
The vets think it is idiopathic cystitis, but they still need to do some tests. If it is, then he will require a special diet to keep inflammation down and to avoid fatal plugs. If he does have a plug already then he is going to need surgery.
The challenge here, is that i have a very limited income. So I'm reaching out to anyone out there. He's my baby and I need him as much as he needs me. Please, if anyone can help me with the vet bills or at the very least to share this journal. Every little bit will help so much.
