I'm back.

I finally feel up to posting again.
Thanks so much to everyone who was so supportive after the loss of my father.
I'm as back to myself as I think I can be. He was the person in my family I was the closest to by a wide measure. I honestly lost a very close friend as much as I did a dad. I think I'm a fraction perma-sad about it. Missing him will always be part of me now.

But I'm carrying on and getting back into the swing of things. If nothing else, I know he'd want me to be happy. Thanks to everyone who wished me well and gave me support to that end. =)

Good people always want those they love to be happy. Funny how that works. : )

Indeed, I've heard people say that you never "get over" loss. You go through it, and you continue to go through it, but it doesn't just end. We're all around if you need us, though at a time like this you've surely picked your rocks. :3

*Applies more hugs.* Glad to hear you're doing alright tiggy, you're a really sweet guy and you didn't deserve to go through that. I hope that your recovery continues to climb until you're back in the shape you were before.

And it's true, We always have to remember the people who care and have cared for us would want us to be happy first and foremost.

I'm glad you're feeling better. I know from personal experience that the sadness never fully goes away, but it does subside with time. And I agree, I'm sure he'd want you to be happy. Welcome back.

As someone who also lost their father far too soon, you have my deepest sympathies. Each day will get a little better, but it's okay to always have a little bit of sadness. In time that sadness will lead you to think of the good times; sad, but smiling. Glad you're doing better.
