Hey there! As you may or may not know, I am still conducting research for my study on people's sexual attraction to fictional characters! This is working towards my degree, and if I pass the (American Psychological Association's (APA) test with my presentation, then I earn my degree! Needless to say I am very excited for this. However, I'm starting to fall behind in the amount of data I need to have a solid statistic. My goal for data is 100 people: 50 males and 50 females. As of right now, I'm at 31/50 males and 4/50 females who have completed surveys.
So how does this relate to the FREE ART? It's simple, you complete and return my survey and I will enter you in a raffle for a chance to win a free character commission! However, there is a catch. You must be at least 18 to enter. By the APA's Code of Ethics, it is unethical to ask minors about anything adult. For those interested and are of age, it is a quick 24 question survey, half asking some personal questions, and the other half, based on characters you are attracted to. However, all questions are will to answer. In other words, if you're not comfortable with a question, just leave it blank! Once I've reached my goal with both sexes, or surpass it, the FREE ART will go into effect!
About confidentiality: at no point will your personal information be given out. You are protected through the APA's Code of Ethics as well as Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). This means, I am not allowed to share your information at any point, further more, it would take a court order stating your actual name for it to be accessible. In other words, impossible for anyone to see. As for what I will be showing, the data gathered will be used to show different statistics focused on all the questions asked in order to answer my hypothesis.
What is my hypothesis? For my study, I've focused on 2 major key points:
1. There is no pattern as to who will or won't find fictional characters appealing in a sexual nature
2. While some characters can be drawn to look sexual, people are interested in the character based off personality rather than appearance
Now that I've explained my business, on to how you can enter!
Just email the project's account at sexualattractionproject@gmail.com for a word doc survey. Complete the survey to your best ability, giving as much or as little information as you wish to provide, and send it back to me along with your FA name. Once finished, you'll be place on a listed for the FREE ART raffle. If you've already completed a survey, just respond to the email sent back, thank you, with your FA name to be entered.

As for when the winners will be announced, that will happen May 1, after the project has ended. This ensures me time to focus on my project, and then you get the best quality when I'll have free time again.
