I never did this actually, but since I have somehow a lot of time left... First of all a big big thank you again to SweaWolf for picking me up and bringing me back to the airport. That was really very kind of you. Also, thank you for the nice drive around Stockholm!
The convention: I was really looking forward to it seeing old friends and such I have never seen in person and of course once you get to know just onsite. Initially I thought I would be around with a few persons the most time, however it turned out they really never available or instantly gone even if you were right speaking with them. However, it is a con and planning things is, in my experience never a good idea as it turns out differently anyway. Have no expectations that is usually with what I go.
But then you suddenly spend a lot good times with @Moof and
. To the last two was really nice to meet you and the other two was really fun with the last night. I was also very pleased to meet the very cute @Caba and Supicoon for the first time. Switching the country to Norway there the often tipsy Ravusy and the very cute:
Jumping down to the Baltic sea, there was this otter Den I always bumped into somehow and of course the rest of the Latvian Fandom Xenorett and Alta (don’t know if she has an account) but also all those nice people from the Ukraine and Slovakia such as TabbieFox and Birko Dragon but there were many more!
You guys made it amazing. The staff was really friendly, it appeared to be organized well, even if the opening ceremony could have been 30 mins shorter. A few delayed events as usual. The beer tasting was an interesting panel to attend. And of course Zootopia!!! Really awesome movie and just tad better to watch it in a cinema full of furries. Especially the fun safety instruction video was fun. The downside was a bit that the suitwalk was cancelled due to rain and not replaced by an indoor route. The same with the dances. Maybe it was just me, but every time I went down to the dance floor there was at max 3 people. Maybe more advertising the next time!
Overall you could tell a lot of people dedicated a lot of their time to make this possible and there were a lot of little details such as the achievement events (even if I have a proud number of zero achievements) or the “Pointless” button. Also the labels on the beer with the Furry ABC was a great idea. Having another O for Otter made it just double as good.
I hope I can be back next year in the new venue. It looks very promising.
I never even went into the dances last year, I always forgot there was that place . . . people were just hanging around in the upper levels. Glad you had fun, anyway!
