Now I just saw Zootopia. Just came home from it like a half an hour ago from this comment post. Now... it was a decent movie. Had some good laughs in it. IMO it's not as good as Deadpool. Heck, Big Hero 6 had a better plot imo. It had a... bleh story plot like Meet the Robinson when comparing one Disney movie to another. Now I am not saying it is a bad movie. It's well animated and the characters you can adore. All I'm saying is it's a generic story telling formula that I was guessing what will happen next and I was right on the money. And the plot was Jerky. It's a great movie to see with loved ones and friends. Especially a cuddle buddy. That's about it.
Deadpool was also a typical revenge story. However it wasn't as jerky as Zootopia's plot. Much smoother in story telling as the movie plays with some unexpected twists. Also more humor. Also it kept itself to the marvel comics more closely than the other Marvel comic movies made. Even better than Ironman in a sense of following close to the actual comic (depending which series you prefer.) Yes it involves a bat shit crazy super mutant that follows along the X-men universe more. However, it kept focused on the story of the protagonist very well. Now this movie is great for those witha crude sense of humor. A story for adults who understand how the world works when the kids are asleep and the night clubs open.
Zootopia gets 3 stars with me. While Deadpool takes a predatory lead of 4.5 stars out of 5.
Also... Spoiler Alert... The fat cheetah.... was giving all sorts of hardcore clues he is a subby pillow biter.
