My posting has definitely slowed down as of late. I can barely finish anything and it's even worse when it comes to actually drawing something. There are a number of reasons.
Depression, which usually hits around this season, especially around the holidays; just keeps me from wanting to anything but sit here and cycle through websites countless times until I force myself to do something. The slightest escape is work, but even then--I really hate that place, so it puts me in a really bad spot on some days.
At the end of 2015, I also got really ill between christmas and new years. As of writing this journal, I've almost got it completely out of my system. But it really killed a lot of what was left of my energy.
And finally to add salt to the gaping wound, my car finally died on christmas eve. So starting the new year asking friends for rides. *sigh*
Clearly this isn't the worst for many people and I know this is just 'life problems', but still doesn't feel good to be in this kind of situation.
Just waiting for the sickness to go away first. Holidays are already over, so that should help aswell. I'll slowly recover. And try to get back in the swing of things.
