Since March 2015 my life is changing SO MUCH and I didn't told nothing to our IB fellows.
I went to my first furry event (Furboliche, at São Paulo, Brazil - you can see more at www.furboliche.com.br) and I saw fursuiters live by the first time ever. There was another two events. The last, at Oct 31, got just 61 fursuiters. And including myself, with a partial and poorly constructed one, but worth it. Some of them got "doubles" to perform with their multiple suits at once. That was crazy. We did Brazil's first fursuit parade - look for "Furboliche" at YouTube.
I'm drawing many of these fursuiters' characters I like at FurAffinity - unhappily they don't know this Website. I got impassioned for many of them and around June 2015, I decided to be one of them, not without some struggling with how could I do the stuff.
I did a fursuit head out of solid cardboard, unconfortable and hot, and with hot-melt glued pieces of faux fur, but were this way I gone to the event.
But I was not satisfied at all. I asked someone after the event to show me how their "professional-grade" heads were inside, and I saw it and noticed that foam was the main material on all of them.
So, after the last event, and after being something upset about how I didn't make the heads out of foam since the beginning, I decided to make the 2.0 version of my character - a cartoon (and cartoonist) wolf named Pat Davidson - and maybe he would get a mate, because I did two foam bases out of spite! I don't know if there are any fursuiters here at Inkbunny, and how they show their works, I need to search for it, if there's it I'll show the bases only for you... I'm afraid about the repercussion of this achievement because everybody thought I weren't capable to do it. The greatest challenge is still to come, fur the heads, on which I only got the theorical knowledge, and finally sew them. My upsetting is also because I don't got the money to comission no one to do that and making it myself, although I got struggling with my family, I'm spending an affordable amount.
But the best is the fact that all of the fursuiters and fursuit makers I like, THEY KNOW I LIKE THEM. This is priceless !! I loved, liked so much, some people on my life but I were afraid of told'em about it, and this hurts me, and I decided that it will be not so anymore.
Despite being at Inkbunny's competitors, I will keep posting things here, even more now that IB can have audio uploaded to it. I got some music to show to you. It only lacks I produce songs in English.
