OK, so, ALOT of people I know have NO idea what Halloween was originally all about, so, I thought I would put it here, for those who want to know, someone of u prob already know what I'm about to say, but here it goes.
Halloween WAS originally a pagan Holiday, yes. but, it 's not about worshiping Satan, or anyone else for that matter. in fact pagan beliefs have nothing to do with Satan, AT ALL.
What Halloween was, is a night for EVERYONE(not just kids) to dress up in as scary a costume as possible, and go thru the village(U have to remember, this is a few hundred years ago) and scare all the BAD spirits away, so the town can live in peace and harmony with each other and nature. and the reason we give out candy,is because, when the people would come to Ur house, and walk thru, to cleanse it, U are supposed to give them a treat of some kind(cakes or cookies), to show that Ur grateful for them helping out.
So U see, it has nothing to do with Satan or demons whatsoever.
And now U know and can pass this along the next time someone calls Halloween an EVIL Holiday.
