Windows 10

I made a DVD backup before upgrading this morning. So far it looks good. I hope they get around to incorporating Dolby Audio again, and fixing the pesky scrollbar feature on the touchpad. I fucking HATE the two-finger scroll feature. :P

I reserved the free copy they're offering. Once you download it, it's yours. Windows is offering this free for one year only.

I reserved it because why not, but have not upgraded yet. Are you saying it's free to pick up for the first year then it will cost money or you only get to use it for a year and then they charge you to use it after the year is up? Cause if it's the latter I'm gonna stay with windows 8.

EDIT: Meant to reply to your reply to RebelDoge.

No charge, as long as you reserve it between now and July 29, 2016. Once you download and install it, it's yours to keep for free, no strings attached. After the free giveaway, those who want the full program will have to pay full price.

Old hacker's rule; NEVER be the first on your block. Let some other sucker discover all the bugs that the developer didn't bother looking for. I would've waited a couple of months to let M$ fix some of the more egregious, easy-to-find bugs in W10 before installing it. Your computer, though...
